“If you don’t believe me then you can ask Nicky. Come let’s go in.” He extended his hands towards me.
As I took his hand, he turned to Murphy and instructed, “go and get mom and dad from the hotel.”
“Hotel? Aren’t they here?” I questioned in astonishment.
Walking inside, he replied, “No, they wanted to take some rest before the event. So instead of sending them all the way home, I booked a room in a nearby hotel.”
“Good job, boss!” I said, giving him thumbs up.
Walking inside I found myself in the wide hall decorated with streamers and white flowers. There were round tables with white tablecloths and chairs with red bows. People were few as the event was just starting.
‘Why does this decoration look familiar,’ I mused while checking around.
“Ah! There he is,” suddenly Noah mumbled and called out, “Nicky!”
As Nicky approached us, Noah commanded, “tell her about the girls fainting with my charm and drooling over me.”
