Sun found herself looking with longing at the small row of bunks the grounders set up inside the main hatch of the ship so they could all get some rest. The sun was just setting, plunging them back into darkness. It was hard for her to comprehend it had only been twenty-four hours since she'd been on the Day Wanderer, safe in her bed and only slightly more than that since she left Earth. She felt a faint twinge of resentment at the sight of Bronwyn curled up, her back to them all, a blanket pulled up around her ears. Sun tried to be charitable. The girl had gone through so much, her pampered life ripped away. Sun shushed the part of her arguing they were all affected and went back to work.
