With the chilling wind and cold weather on an autumn night, the weather has
changed from warm spring to chilly autumn. The wind picked up the fallen leaves of
many trees, creating a rustling sound throughout the cemetery. No one wants to be
at a cemetery during this gloomy time, yet daisy was there, standing in front of her
grandmother's gravestone with a look on her face showing nothing but grief,
disheartenment, and confusion in her eyes. Daisy stands there lost in her thoughts,
she refused to accept that her beloved grandmother is gone. The person who raised
her loves her and supported her unconditionally, She grew up under the wings of her
grandmother while, her parent had been absent her whole life. She was fighting with
her thoughts as the chilly wind of the autumn night caused daisy to shiver while her
heartthrob even more. her beloved grandmother is gone and she is alone in this
darkness, no one is there to be her light to guide her anymore, and no more reasons
to be bright and happy. Once the happy child inside her that lived because of her
granny died that day alongside her grandmother. Her weak body could not handle
the cold weather and the death of her loved one made her collapse. Daisy saw her
grandma standing at their favorite spot, she could not help but run to her mee-maw
and hug her. The warmth of her grandmother's arm around her and the sound of her
voice made daisy sob with joy. Grandma stands there embracing Daisy in her arm,
silently comforting her by stroking her hair as Daisy bawls her eyes out while holding
onto her granny so tight, terrified she will lose her again if she let go. As her grandma
drifts away, Daisy desperately tries to catch up but quickly realizes she could not
move nor speak, she was frozen in place. she tries to scream for her grandma not to
leave her. Daisy woke up in a panic, desperate to find her granny but to no avail, she
was nowhere to be seen, her eyes were blurry with tears and her ears is ringing so
that she could not hear her friend calling for her. once she calmed down she found
herself laying in a hospital bed with her friends, Delilah and Jay beside her bedside
with a scared look on their faces. The realization finally set into Daisy that it was just
a dream. Her friends were horrified to see her in this state, Daisy is normally a shy,
quiet, and collected person but seeing her in this state now caused by the emotional
chaos made them feel empathy for their friend. A few moments later, Daisy's
caretaker and her parent came inside the room to check on her condition. Daisy
turned to look at them with a cold expression and continue to lie down motionless.
After the death of her grandmother, Daisy was never the same person again. Once a
lively, cheerful little girl full of life is now a lifeless person who only stares off into the
abyss. Her parent was in despair, seeing their only daughter in this state made their
heart breaks so they decided to send Daisy to the United Kingdom in the hopes of
bringing their once sweet and full-of-life daughter back and also for her to continue
her study in a fresh new start. Daisy was livid with her parent, she was mad that her parent had never been in her life, and now after so many years of neglect, they came
into her life just like nothing had happened and decided what was best for her
without trying to understand the suffering she going through. A few months had
gone by, Daisy had moved to the UK and college is about to start for her. It seems
like a perfect new start. "RING RING" The sound of her alarm clock rang. The only
sound that can be heard through her apartment. Daisy woke up in surprise and then
proceed to lie back down till she glace at her phone and it said 9 o'clock. She
immediately rushes out of bed to get ready. "I am so screwed! Late for my first day of
college!! Just great", Daisy said out loud as she ran through her apartment gathering
her things. She rushes through the streets desperately trying to catch a bus but
suddenly slammed into someone. The impact made her fall onto the ground, she let
out of small curse from the pain of the fall. A hand suddenly reached out to help her,
a concerned voice can be heard "hey, are you okay?" Daisy looked up and saw the
most handsome guy with the bluest eyes that she had ever seen and a fluffy blonde
bird nest on his head, she was lost in his eyes that she could not catch what the guy
was saying. " have your parents not taught you that staring is rude, love?" He said
with a chuckle, his words caught Daisy's attention. it felt like she had been slapped,
no one dare to lecture her about her parents. Daisy shove his hand away and
snapped back " mind your own business Mr. Blind " she got up with a huff and walk
off, thinking " what an arrogant bastard! How dare he!!" The "arrogant bastard"
laugh at Daisy's reaction and said what a strange girl. Daisy arrived at the campus an
hour late. She was supposed to be 10min late but thanks to "Mr. Blind" she was late
on her first day. "ughh the more I think of him the more irritated I get." Daisy
thought as she shook her head, "this is going to be one long day" she said with a sigh.
she stands there, confused while trying to understand the chart that was given to her
prior as a new student. Suddenly a brown-haired girl ran up to Daisy with a panicked
expression "HI, are you Daisy? the new student that I need to tour?" she said so fast
that I barely caught her words. Daisy responded "yes? I'm Daisy, Daisy hope-" before
I could even finish my sentence, she cut me off saying "Great! I'm Amber, I am so
sorry for being late. were you lost? oh my god, I'm such a bad tour person" Daisy
shushed her before she could ramble even more, "It's okay, I don't mind we all make
mistakes". Amber then gave me a goofy smile and said, "I like you already, you're
very understanding unlike other lads that I tour". Daisy laughed as she heard what
Amber said in the last part. Amber was a great tour person ( not really) she has
gotten us lost many times but I enjoyed my time with her, we also discovered we are
in the same classification and she got super excited, jumping around like a little kid.
she was sad that she had to leave me because we had a different lecture so she
decided to meet up at a café near the campus after all our lecture finish. Daisy
arrived first at the café, the café atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. "I am so coming here to study." Daisy thought to herself. After she sat down at a table by the
window, she start working on her assignment then she feels a presence towering over
her so she looked up and was greeted by the same guy from earlier. she immediately
got annoyed and spoke with a firm voice "what are you doing?". he ignored Daisy's
question and said "this is wrong, you should focus on the main point first", he looked
up straight into Daisy's eyes as he finish speaking. this only made Daisy even more
irritated, "This guy is taunting me! on purpose!!" she thought in rage. He continue
"I'm more than happy to help you, shorty." she snapped back barely holding her
anger, "I don't need your help, please leave me alone before I poke your eyes out".
He laughed at her threat and shook his head "You will need help sooner or later and
when you do, just call for me". with that, he just walks off leaving Daisy in a rage.
Amber came in to see her friend with murderous eyes, "hey bestie, you alright? you
look like you want to strangle someone" Amber said confused. Daisy pointed to the
guy and said " he is pissing me off, he made me late for class and then messed with
me". Amber turned to look in Daisy's direction and made a surprised look "oh Louis
William, he is our senior and a member of the student council." Amber said then
continue "he is normally a very serious guy but very helpful and caring, but what you
describe him it sounds like, he had taken interest in you." This completely made
Daisy anger faded to confusion quickly, "what" Daisy said, " no no way, that is just
messed up Amber. " Daisy shook her head in disgust. Amber laughed and said, "If a
look could kill, Louis would be laying dead on the floor right now." After that
encounter, Louis seem to be everywhere around Daisy. wherever she goes Louis will
be there, he is like an annoying fly that can't get rid of. This made her dislike him
even more. One night, when she was walking home after a long study session in the
campus library. One night, when she was walking home after a long study session in
the campus library. she feels like she is being followed then all of a sudden Louis pop
up scaring Daisy and causing him to get hit by Daisy's purse. Louis quickly covers his
nose to see that it was bleeding and groaned "oh come on Daisy." Daisy casually
replied " well deserved and what are you doing out this late? Are you following me?"
as they were bickering, someone came by and snatched Daisy's purse. Lewis
reflected as soon as he saw the thief, he then tried his best to catch up and got hurt
by the thief after catching up. Lewis came back with scars and wounds on his skin
along with Daisy's purse. Daisy was in shock and gasped when she saw Louis state "
why did you run after him!? Are you an idiot!? That was dangerous " She yelled at
him. he only smiled at her and listen to her scolding, Daisy said " are you even
listening to me Louis?? god forget it, come on let go to my apartment to patch you
up." after patching Louis wound up, they both couldn't sleep so they went to sit on
the rooftop to watch the sunrise, none of them spoke just peace. Till Louis's voice
broke the silence, "Daisy, can you tell me why you dislike me so much?" Daisy hummed and replied, "do you still remember our incident when we first meet?"
Louis hummed, "You were the most stunning person I ever saw but your word made
me dislike you, you mention my parents." Daisy let out a sob and Louis said "it's
okay if you don't want to talk about it." while comforting her. Daisy shook her head
and continue "as you know I'm not originated from here, I grew up in America with
my grandmother and my parents were never there for me my whole life, that is why
when you mention them not disciplining me hurts a lot because I don't have a
parental figure in my life apart from my grandma." Louis hesitated to ask again
"what about your grandmother? how is she?" Daisy answered with a sad smile "my
grandma passed away last year" Louis ask quietly "oh so why are you in the UK?","
it's a long story," Daisy said, "my parent thinks I was losing my mind after the loss of
my memaw and for once they were right, they decided to send me here to study and
hopefully give me a fresh start again." it was quite for awhile before Louis spoke up
"I'm sorry for your lost Daisy and I apologize for being rude to you the first time we
meet, I didn't mean to offended you and thank you for sharing your suffering with
me, sharing your trauma with me shows me that you trust me and I am proud of you
for speaking out because many people can not do what you just did Daisy." For the
first time, she heard someone say they were proud of her, and this made her tear up
and hug Louis. At this moment nothing mattered more than them, Daisy in Louis as
she cried her heart out and Louis feeling for Daisy only grew. From that day onward
Louis and Daisy's bounded, their relationship together only blossomed, they were
inseparable They both graduated with master's degrees and were overjoyed,
everything seems perfect just like the life Daisy always dreamed of." few months
gone by after their graduation, Daisy is now working as a nurse in a London
Hospital while Louis is a surgeon. The sound of running can be heard as panting,
Louis was late and he ran through roads and stops but the smile on his face never
faded as his mind was occupied by Daisy, all their dream came through, and his hard
work paid off, and rewarded him with the gorgeous and loving partner, "I am going
to propose to her today", Louis thought with a smile. Suddenly a truck slammed into
him losing control of the truck causing Lewis to have serious injuries and died due to
too much blood lost in the ambulance. Daisy was waiting at their meeting spot for
hours, the longer she wait, the more anxious she became and tried calling Louis
many times but no response from Louis. That day was supposed to be their happiest
moment but it turn into the day that Daisy want to forget the most. years had gone
by, Daisy sat on the rooftop while holding Louis's memorial stone. She spoke softly
while watching the sunset " Louis my dear, it has been 4 years since you left me. you
helped me, you never judge me or abandon my past. You were truly the hope of my
life, you showed me the path, and teaches me that I can be happy. The moment I
found out you pass away I felt my heart drop, my entire world just crumbles like when my grandmother passed and I just broke down during the phone call,
screaming, crying, and begging that it was wrong. But of course no matter how much
I cried and begged you weren't coming back. it feels like I been thrown back to my
teenage year when my grandmother passed." Daisy said while tears streamed down
her face "it been very hard without you here with me even if I have forgiven my
parents and doing good in life but my heart is empty without you here. I will always
be here, forever hopelessly devoted to you. My dear Louis."
