New Team Teiko
Doing his daily routine after waking up, Shin getting a apple with a smile from the fridge and taking a bite out of it, heard something from behind him in a sweet tone "Sweetie, did something good happen yesterday that's made you this happy? Don't tell me... Have you got a girlfriend! Nooooooo! I don't want my baby to leave me already!" Getting hugged tightly from behind, Shin saw his mum with tears streaming from her eyes. Wiping the tears with his thumb, Shin said in a calming voice "Mum it's alright, i won't be leaving you anytime soon. I've got to go but mum you'll always be my number 1 like Akiha." Kissing his mother on the forehead then walking out of the door while still eating his apple and getting a "Good bye Sweetie!" from his mother.
Almost 5 minutes away from Teiko, Shin Saw Kise in front of him going towards Teiko so Shin went behind Kise and putted his arm around him then spoke "Didn't know you took the same way as me Kise. Wanna walk with me to Teiko?" Kise almost jumping with Shock, composed him self and spoke with a smile " Ah! I didn't see you there Shin-cchi and sure it's kind of boring walking alone." Shin raising his eyebrow with confusion from the suffix just shrugged it off decide not to ask.
Walking towards Teiko, Shin and Kise just mostly had small talk with each other about basketball so when arriving at Teiko, both said bye and left to go there separate ways. Shin entering his class saw everyone looking at him then reverting there looks from him when he looked back at them, finally noticing his seat buddy and friend getting educated by Shintaro due to eating in class interrupted him and put his hand on Shintaro "Shintaro can you chill, it's not like he is causing anything by eating his snacks." Shintaro taking notice of Shin's presence said while putting his index finger to his glasses "Shin-kun, I'm just educating Atsuchi that eating while in class is very in proper to do." nodding to him, Shintaro went back to his seat to read his book like usual. Shin letting out a sigh and sitting in his chair turned towards Atsuchi and said with a stoic face "Even though i don't mind you eating when your near me Atsuchi but i don't want to constantly bail you out of these kind of situations." Getting a stare and nod from Atsuchi then resuming to eating again. Shin could do nothing but Shake his head at his friend with a slight smirk. 10 minutes later the bell rang and Class started with the Teacher entering the class.
After finish the school day everything went exactly like Yesterday except the glances from everyone, girl's asking Shin out but Shin being a gentlemen politely rejected them causing the girl's to increase in number and some interaction with the Generation of Miracles. Though Shin was confused why whenever he went to Momoi, she after noticing him just blush and ran away with her friends Miki and Atsuko running after Momoi before saying sorry. So after Going to the locker room with Atsuchi and getting his normal sports wear but this time with a red arm protector, was ready to find out what string he was gonna be in and first training session with possibly the Generation of Miracles.
Entering the Gym with Atsuchi before the announcement for who was going to what string, Atsuchi and Shin did a couple of drills with Post up with Atsuchi being surprised and excited that Shin blocked a few of his post moves, Cone drills to improve dribbling and normal shooting drills for Shin. So when Shin was done with the drills, Kozo and Momoi gathered all the new members and Kozo Said in front of everyone "As you all know today is the day you found out what String you will be in. Okay the first person is..." (Not going through the line because there side characters and we only do main ones out here. So only Kise) As all the other members left to going to either string Second or Third. There was only Kise and Shin still where the meeting gathered before either Shin or Kise could Gather their thoughts, Kozo Spoke " Ryota Kise, you will be in the First string. You showed exceptionable Talent and a very strong ability to copy someones move just from seeing it for the first time because of this, you was chosen to join." As Kise celebrated and went to the First String Court section, Kozo spoke once again. "Kobayashi Shin, you was chosen to Join the First String team and also will be joining the Starter team while playing Small-forward position. The reason you have been chosen to join the First string was due to your overwhelming Skill to even make Most of the Talented Bunch in the starter seem like rookies, this was also the reason you are playing in the Starter team. I hope you show the other teams in Tokyo that this year Teiko will be even more Feared. Congratulation!" Shaking Hands with Kozo also a Smirk to Kozo and Momoi, Shin walked to the First string court.
Walking on to the Court, Shin saw all of the Generation of Miracles Practising and only barely noticing Kuroko sitting on the bench with a Star eyed Kise looking at his fellow First string players practising. Analysing his fellow Starters, Shin was interrupted by a Dark-tanned and Blue haired person. "Your Shin right? I've heard a lot from Momoi about you while walking home yesterday, I was wondering if you wanna play a 1 vs 1. The Names Aomine Daiki, Power-forward of Teiko, lets see what you showed yesterday wasn't just a fluke." Noticing a Smiling Aomine, Shin Smirked and said "Sure, I've wanted to play against the Ace of The Generation of Miracles."
"To win you need to 6 points and we will be only doing half-court. Is that Fine?" Getting a Nod from Shin. Starting the match, Shin served the ball to Aomine and when he did Aomine blasted past Shin without noticing, scoring with a right hand lay up making it 0-1 to Aomine. Shin noticing that Aomine just scored smiled at a smirking Aomine. Serving again Aomine tried to go past Shin like last time but this time Shin stopped Aomine dead in his tracks, so being stopped Aomine settled his feet in the formless form and shot making it go in by hitting the backboard, score 0-2. Feeling disappointed Aomine voiced in disinterest "Is this really the person that scored 50+ points in the game yesterday? Your not worth to play in the Starter team." Laughing at Aomine statement, Shin spoke in a mocking tone "Don't big your self up. All i'm doing is seeing how far your formless Shot can shoot from. Just so you know, don't feel down if you can't score it's nothing personal."
Setting Aomine again, Aomine tried to run pass Shin to the left and like last time Shin blocked Aomine drive, causing Aomine to go up for a shot though this time before Aomine could release Shin Blocked and grabbed the ball from Aomine, resulting to Shin's ball. Getting ball from Aomine, Shin instantly shot the ball from the 3 point arc resulting in nothing but net causing the game to be tied 2-2. Feeling like an arsehole Shin said "You was saying about not being worth to play for the Starter team? From now on I will pull you back a peg to show you that YOUR not really worth to play AGAINST me." Though this made Aomine mad, it also made him excited to feel like he still wasn't at the peak of his prime and he had someone to challenge him.
After the statement, Shin scored 3 more points against Aomine making the score 5-2 to Shin by another 2 point from the 3 point arc and a lay up with his right hand. Once again the ball in Shin possession, Shin crossed the ball from his left hand to right then his under his left leg, Shin hesitated with the ball once again in his left hand to the left making Aomine step to the left causing Shin to blow by Aomine when he crossed the ball behind his back to the right hand. Arriving in the paint Shin did a plain right handed dunk causing the score 6-2 to Shin making him the Winner. After handshaking with Aomine and saying sorry, Shin and Aomine heard clapping from the side of them on the baseline then a Girlish voice "Dai-chan what did you do to make Koba-chan say sorry to you !" hearing the voice both, an Irritated Shin and a Sweating Aomine looked towards it to found Momoi with an Angry expression on her face. "Momoi, can you call me by my first name." Seeing Momoi sulk by his statement, Shin just gulped and said in a defeated tone "Fine. I hate it when girls cry especially cute ones." hearing this Momoi looked down with a blush trying to hide it and a suspicious Aomine looking between Shin and Momoi just shuck his head deciding to find out what was happening between them by Momoi's friends.
Walking away from Momoi and Aomine Started the Practice 2 on 2 and drills by Kozo so when finishing them making it the end of the basketball club, Kozo gathered the First-string "Okay guys in 1 week will be having our first game against Shirotorizawa Middle school. The Starter team for next week is PG: Seijuro Akashi, SG: Shintaro Midorima, New Small-forward: Kobayashi Shin, PF: Aomine Daiki and C: Atsuchi Murasakibara. That is all for now." Finishing his speech, Kise though was unhappy about not being in the Starting line up knew Shin was way better than him so he didn't mind but still had a strong determination to be as strong as Shin one day.
Finishing Changing Clothes in the locker up rooms with the other member's, Shin walked outside of the school and saw Momoi walking on her own, deciding to walk with her Shin walked to her and spoke "Hey, You alright if i walk with you cause it gets boring walking on your own and i might as well walk you to your house. Can't let a cute girl on there own when anything could happen." Hearing something behind her , Momoi looked back and saw Shin with his normal stoic face but with a slight smirk. Seeing his face so close for the second time Momoi blushed and nodded with a yes. So while walking, Shin and Momoi talked about stuff they love like foods which Shin said apples and when his mum allows him to have a 'cheat day' Strawberry muffing, Momoi replied with just anything to do with cherry which made Shin Chuckle and Momoi blush more. Surprisingly to Shin, Momoi only lived around the corner from his house with Aomine being across her, so when dropping her off to her house with Momoi's dad giving him death stares Shin asked Momoi if she wanted to hang out one day which she replied with yes and a blush.
Entering his home after dropping of Momoi, Shin's mother appeared with Akiha "Nii-san, did you get into the starting lineup for the basketball team?" so going up to Akiha after her question Shin just patted her head which made her cutely pout that suited her red eyes just like Shin and Black hair, seeing this Shin grabbed her cheeks and said with loving tone "Awww! My little sister is sooo cute, i've got to be careful when you grow up with all the boys that will try to take you away from me!" Getting a 'humph' and walking away with a blush from Akiha, Shin hugged his mother and said good night. So heading up to bed after taking a shower, Shin just laid down on his bed and couldn't just wait for his first game with the Generation of Miracles. So after 20 minutes of no sleep for Shin, Shin finally went to asleep soundly with mutters of his new friends and Momoi.
