"Seeing that man with those six Devil Fruits next to him, I had this crazy thought," Garp said seriously. "Could it be because he's on the ship that those strange incidents happened before?"

Sengoku instinctively wanted to dismiss the idea. Afterall, how could a man's mere presence on a ship affect things like cannonballs avoiding their target? It sounded far-fetched.

But as he thought about it, six Devil Fruit users had died, and their fruits had all reappeared near this man. The odds of that happening by chance seemed incredibly low, no, they are impossible to begin with. 

With this in mind, Sengoku fell silent.

Nami, her face smeared with dust but miraculously free from injuries, glanced at Adonis along with the unconscious Luffy on her back. She whispered softly, "Adonis…..."

Her primary focus had been on protecting Luffy, and she had succeeded thus far in preventing any new harm from befalling him. However, she realized that she couldn't do much to rescue Ace given the overwhelming strength of their enemies.

Luffy was now unconscious, overwhelmed by grief from Ace's death. After a moment of contemplation, Nami made her way toward Adonis, still carrying her captain on her back.

Meantime.

"Despicable! Curse it! Who gave you the audacity to steal the fruit from me?" Blackbeard seethed with anger as he led his crew toward the Moby Dick. He didn't care who this man was; if he dared to take the Quake Fruit from his grasp, he must pay with his life.

Soon, they reached the Moby Dick, and Blackbeard raised his head, commenting coldly, "Seems like your Devil Fruit ability is quite unique!"

Adonis only responded with a disdainful smile, which only deepened the scowl on Blackbeard's face. "Kill him!" he commanded.

Van Orka, one of Blackbeard pirate crew swiftly aimed his gun and pulled the trigger. "Bang!"

However, what was particularly humiliating for him was that his shot, which was at point blank range, inexplicably missed its target. 

The bullet whizzed past Adonis's face.

"Eh? This shouldn't be happening, what is going on?" Van Orka muttered to himself in disbelief.

Blackbeard seeing the others didn't make any move on Adonis, advanced forward, dark smoke emanated from his body, shrouding the entire deck. 

His eyes, filled with greed, were fixed on the Devil Fruits surrounding Adonis. He jeered, "Zehahahaha, your fruit ability is becoming more and more intriguing."

His intention was clear: he wanted to eliminate this man to obtain the coveted fruit of his dreams. 

But in the next moment, a sharp sound echoed.

"Snap!"

With a deafening crash, Blackbeard's body rocketed towards Marineford, breaking the sound barrier and slamming into the walls of the Headquarters, disintegrating into a grotesque mass of flesh.

The unimaginable shockwave rippled out from the point of impact, piercing through the sky and allowing a ray of sunlight to shine through the clouds above the battered battlefield.

The criminals who had followed Blackbeard onto the ship were left wide-eyed in shock. Their attention shifted abruptly from Blackbeard's remains to Adonis, their gazes frozen in disbelief.

This man, who had effortlessly dispatched their supposed captain with a disdainful look, casually shook his hand as if he were getting rid of something unpleasant.

He glanced over at the lifeless Blackbeard and remarked casually, "Seems like I've exerted too much strength."

The eyelids and corners of the Blackbeard pirates' mouths twitched.

'Oh Nah! We getting cooked.' With this in mind, their expressions changed.

However, before they could react, it became clear that fleeing was no longer an option. They had already engaged in this conflict, and escaping now seemed hopelessly naive.

Adonis had initially refrained from intervening in this battle, deeming it unnecessary. He had come into this world solely to fulfill his deal with Nami. But if someone provoked him, they were in for a rude awakening.
