Chapter 27: "Siegfried determination"

Meanwhile the two great powers, Schicksal and Anti-Entropy were focusing on tracking down Siegfried's position. Several days had passed, and in the cave far from their log cabin, Siegfried looked at Kiana's face which was flushed with fever with worry.

Kiana's other personality had told him that this was a side effect of the massive absorption of honkai energy.

As a person who has a special stigma, and has the power of a fusion warrior. Siegfried could feel the honkai energy around him starting to flow towards Kiana's body very rapidly.

During their observation period when this plan was initiated, herrscher cores usually only absorb honkai energy silently and slightly covertly. But for some reason, since yesterday the absorption of Honkai energy has never stopped. In fact, it's getting higher.

Surprised by the sudden change in atmosphere. Kiana looked at the chestnut-haired girl who was clutching her shoulder at this time with a confused look.

"It's killing me from the inside, Sirin! Don't let them put that thing in you!!!"

Kiana could feel the pain from the girl's eyes.

She had no idea who this chestnut-haired girl who had suddenly appeared in front of her was. But for some reason, she felt very sad.

When the voice fell again. A group of researchers wearing white coats entered, and they immediately grabbed Kiana's small hand tightly.

Kiana's heart immediately filled with a feeling of terror.

"Let me go!!!"

Fight really hard. Little Kiana felt that her current body somehow felt very weak.

No matter how much she tried to struggle, the grip of the rough hand never loosened, and instead almost broke the bones of her fragile little hand.

"Please save me..."

The girl prayed from her heart. And the prayer...

The voice reappeared. But accompanied by a very pent up anger.

"Big Sister!!!" Kiana exclaimed in surprise.

K-423 arrived just in time, and kicked all the researchers in the room to death. Immediately rushed to Kiana with worry.

"Are you alright!?"

"Big sis, I miss you!!"

Kiana usually doesn't want to call her other self as big sister because that's just an act that begs for ridicule. But now, she didn't care.

Back in K-423's arms, Kiana's cold heart became warm again.

"Thank goodness you're okay...."

Hugging the purple haired girl in her arms. K-423 felt relieved, before a ferocious rage slowly enveloped her entire heart.

"You pissed me off little mouse! I thought we could negotiate calmly, but it looks like you want to go the hard way!!"

"Then I will serve you!"

"Get out of your turtle shell you BASTARD!!!"

The entire prison cell room shook violently as if hit by an earthquake wave. The space around her started to crack like clear glass being shattered. With a deafening explosion, the entire room was instantly destroyed!

"What!?!"

Herrscher of Void was dumbfounded.

Of course she didn't know that Kiana was just bait for her to get out of the Herrscher's core. At first, K-423 wanted to snatch Fenghuang Down's feathers instantly, and trap her in there. However, because of what she did to Kiana, K-423 became very angry, and K-423 kicked her until she was trapped in the physical body.

"Who are you?"

When Siegfried, who was on guard, saw Kiana's eyes which were closed tightly, slowly opened again. He saw a pair of golden colored eyes, and Siegfried immediately became very alert.

Siegfried held Judgment of Shamash tightly.

"Will ask one more time. Are you in front of me Kiana, Sirin, or the Herrscher of Void."

Hearing Siegfried's question, the Herrscher of Void snorted her nose in dissatisfaction.

"Is it important?"

Herrscher of Void's body floated up from the ground. With a flick of her little finger, many small portals started to appear around the cave.

"You almost killed me a few years ago. Have you forgotten the name of this queen?"

"I used to be careless, but the current me will not repeat the same mistake again."

"So die insects."

With dozens of archon spears created from Imaginary space energy. The spear shot through the air towards Siegfried, and the entire cave they were in immediately collapsed.

A portal appeared above the collapsing cave, and the Herrscher of Void looked down with disdain.

Surprised by the pillar of fire that suddenly appeared from the former collapsed cave. Herrscher of Void teleported far away, and she stared at the pillar of fire with a dumbfounded look.

"We Kaslana, we will protect our loved ones no matter what the cost, even if the stake is our own lives."

Siegfried emerges from the pillar of fire with a burning body. Ice vapors almost covered his entire body.

"I am Siegfried Kaslana. Will protect my daughter at all costs. Herrscher, I challenge you one more time!!"

"To my daughter!"

"For my family!!"

"This time I will protect them all!!"

"Zero power, MIGHT OF UTU! OPEN!!!"

The gun-shaped Judgment of Shamash transformed, and merged into an extremely fiery blade.

A sword, which can give its wielder extraordinary power at the cost of their own life.

This was the true form of the Key of Destruction [Judgment of Shamash].

"I will not lose again Herrscher. This time I will show you the results of my two years of training."

Siegfried's eyes were now filled with burning determination.

He wasn't a Schicksal warrior now, nor was he the patriarch of the Kaslana family, nor was he a lone wolf who continued to fight against the Honkai secretly.

He is now... is a father.

A father who will protect his family no matter what the cost.
