Meet Otto Apocalypse

Hearing Himeko's shout from afar, he immediately picked up his pace and headed toward the airport.

Behind him, Kiana and her friends chased him with their eyes glowing strangely.

Kouro who was being chased seemed to have a calm expression, he seemed to have anticipated this kind of situation.

Earlier after he returned from Tokyo, he met Theresa to ask if she was the one who would drive him to Schicksal.

"What's going on?"

Kouro did not answer her question, he just focused on looking at the aircraft before quickly shouting, "Open the cabin door quick!"

The flying ship stopped midair before the cabin door slowly opened.

'Was I too tired to notice Amber's existence?' He quickly dispelled this thought, but his vigilance was raised very high.

"Are we there yet?"

Kouro rubbed his eyes and stood up to follow Amber out of the aircraft.

The sudden contact with sunlight made Kouro shield his eyes with his hands, this happened for a moment before his eyes were able to readjust.

He saw various types of combat aircraft and several mecha moving slowly in sync as if on patrol, it seemed that this place was a place dedicated to air transportation platforms.

He then turned his head to see a few Valkyries leaving with serious expressions boarding a combat aircraft, it seemed like they were on a mission.

Looking at the surrounding metallic buildings, he finally realized there were no trees, not even plants, as far as the eye could see, there was only metal, metal, and metal.

"Is this Schicksal?" Kouro muttered.

"Welcome to Schicksal's main headquarters, Kouro-sama. Please follow me to the Overseer's room." Amber said as she walked.

Kouro followed her and looked around curiously.

There were many questions in his mind regarding Schicksal, one of which was how they including himself could breathe normally in a place like this.

After all, Schicksal's current base was probably more than 20,000 feet above sea level.

He then asked Amber about this, and she quickly replied, "We can all breathe normally because there is a special energy field that coats the entire Schicksal base. This energy field has many benefits such as being a protective field if attacked."

Amber continued, "The energy field can also be used to camouflage the Schicksal base so that it is not visible to satellites or even signal transmitters."

Kouro nodded his head to show that he understood.

Then he seemed to ask questions when he saw something new, such as the cafeteria, gym, and laboratory.

Amber answered all his questions patiently.

In addition, Kouro also learned that the Valkyries have a military education.

He noticed that whenever the passing Valkyries saw Amber, they quickly gave her a military salute before then looking at him curiously but not asking questions.

Moments later Kouro finally arrived at the Overseer's room.

Amber knocked a few times before a voice came from behind the door, "Please come in."

She then opened the door and entered followed by Kouro.

There was Otto sitting there smiling facing them.

The Overseer's room turned out to be normal, just like a normal office room other than a few digital computers near Otto, he seemed to have just finished work.

"Overseer Otto, I have picked up Kouro-sama."

"Good job." After saying that he looked at Kouro.

"This may not be our first meeting and you may already know me, but let me introduce myself, my name is Otto Apocalypse, the Overseer of Schicksal."

As Otto said, technically it wasn't their first meeting, but for Kouro it was his first time coming face to face with the main antagonist of the game he was playing.

After saying that, Otto said a few more words before handing him an ID card and telling them to leave.

"Kouro-sama, let me show you where your room is."

Kouro stared at the ID card with his eyebrows raised.

As usual, Ashborn didn't answer Otto's questions, he just asked, "By the way, are you going to assign him to a certain Valkyrie team?"

"What do you think?" Otto smiled and showed an information interface in front of Ashborn.

"Are you sure you want to assign him to this team?"

The information interface showed a team that Otto had just created.

Amber told him some rules that he needed to abide by while in Schicksal, such as not being allowed to gather in the same room if they were of different sexes.

A short while later they arrived at a multi-story dormitory.

"Kouro-sama, your room is on the fourth floor with the number [670] written on the door." After saying that, she then handed him a key.

"Kouro-sama, after you put your things away, you can go to Nagamitsu St. Lab 1504. There, you can request a pair of battlesuits and weapons."

Amber then gave him a basic map of Schicksal before leaving Kouro alone.

"Did she say battlesuit?" Kouro's eyes lit up slightly, he was really looking forward to his Battlesuit.

But before that, he had to put his things away first...

Kouro picked up his suitcase and went to his room.

He could easily find his room because the paint color of his door was different from the others as if to tell the others that he lived here.

Not thinking much of this, he then entered his room.

The room was plain gray and not too big maybe around 10 meters square, the furniture was complete but there was no kitchen, there was only a pair of chairs and a long table in the middle of his room, he also saw that the bathroom was complete but some bathing needs such as towels, soap and so on had to be provided by himself.

Kouro remembered Amber saying that he could order the necessities online and Schicksal would provide them immediately.

After putting his things away and cleaning up for a while Kouro quickly headed out, he wanted to get to the Nagamitsu Lab as soon as possible.

There was a crashing sound when Kouro opened the door, it seemed like someone was standing in front of his door.

"Sorry, I didn't know you were in front of my room, are you okay?" Kouro swiftly helped the girl who was holding her head.

"It's okay. " the girl just smiled carelessly and stood up while patting the dust off her body.

"You're a newcomer, right? The name's Susannah Manatt, I am a B-Rank Valkyrie." Susannah said proudly.

Susannah was a cheerful girl who had orange eyes and long blonde hair except that her clothes were a bit out of sync with Schicksal, she was wearing a purple and white bear-shaped hoodie, and she was also wearing a white and pink t-shirt.

Kouro did not interrupt her introduction, he could not tell her that he was an A-Rank Einherjar higher than her rank.

"Hello, Susannah-senpai, my name is Hanagami Kouro, please take care of me in the future."
