"Are you ready, Rimuru-chan?" Adam looked towards the slime in the eyes and asked with uncharacteristic seriousness

They were in the same spot as before, but now he was standing right in front of the blue haired loli as Rias was to the side, watching their exchange with full attention

"Sure Adam! I don't know why you look so serious, but I trust you!" Rimuru nodded in response as she gave him a bright smile that seemed to light up the dark alley they were hiding in

... He didn't really know what to say, Rimuru's confident words and overwhelming trust in him did make him feel warm in his heart

Rias was actually right this time, he is only planning on unlocking Rimuru's Aura, but not hers. So it made sense why that she became pouty all of a sudden

Adam looked at her with a deadpan expression, her try at guilt tripping him not fazing him in the slightest

"That's because unlocking someone's Aura is a very intimate action. My soul basically touches yours to unlock your Aura" At the end of his sentence, he was looking at Rias with a teasing smile "Don't tell me you've fallen in love with me just after meeting me? If that's the case, I can definitely unlock your Aura for you"

"N-no I haven't! I just didn't know that, so don't get the wrong idea!" After actually hearing his answer, Rias' cheeks went as crimson as her hair as she tried to explain herself

After a few minutes of devouring and copying Rias' DNA, his 'being' has acquired all the characteristics of Devils, including their minor skills such as increased charm, minor shape shifting, and the ability to understand all mundane languages which he already had

Considering that Devils are supernatural beings of sin, his charm also increased (Yet again!). But while he has all those natural charm increase passives, her reaction is still very unnatural...

'Then again, her family situation is also very weird...' Adam said in his heart under the influence of [Though Acceleration]

Her family is very weird, and considering he got her DNA as a base and he now has the Power of Destruction, Adam could indeed be counted as her family

Just thinking of that Sis-con Lucifer and that girl Runeas who has too many fetishes to count and yet has locked herself in some basement... Adam thinks it makes sense that he now has a Charisma Buff against members of the Gremory or the Bael family

"B-but what about Rimuru? Were your words in the Chat Room true and you two are actually...?" Calming down, Rias asked as she looked between silver haired boy and the blue haired loli

In response, Adam wrapped his arm around Rimuru's shoulder and brought her close to him so their bodies were pressing against each other

"That's right! Rimuru is my wife now, so it is quite natural of me to unlock her Aura... We are intimate all the time, after all"

Their bodies being in negative distance, he replied back to Rias with his smile widening in length

"E-eh?! B-but I'm not you wife!"

Although Rimuru didn't resist his hug, and her cheeks heated up intensely, but she still disagreed decisively

'Ah...' Rias exclaimed in her thoughts as she realized where her jealousy stemmed from

Having the freedom to pursue the one you love, without having to be forced being married to a scumbag.... It looks like a love story that came straight out of an anime!

She is so jealous! Their interactions are so ridiculous yet wholesome that they seem like two overpowered protagonists falling in love with one another!

Adam asked Rimuru while holding both her shoulders with his hands, his glowing blue eyes staring at her own golden ones intensely

After having a... Very embarrassing conversation, they finally calmed down and decided to unlock her Aura.

Although she could feel Rias being pouty to the side, and with her new found Physic power, she could also feel the red head's emotions being a jumbled mess. She didn't know what happened to this girl, but now, she has something else to focus on!

"Yes! Do it Adam!" She nodded and gave him an encouraging smile

Adam took a deep breath.... And started chanting

"For it is through the inner self that we achieve growth. Through this, we acquire the knowledge to ascend beyond. Infinite in potential and unbound by limits-"

Adam glowed in pure golden light, the golden with strands of blue Aura surrounding him and coming out of him from the depths of his soul

Under the influence of [Thought Acceleration], everything in front of Rimuru was happening in slow motion. She could feel Adam's soul as it touched her own (Wah!), gently embracing it and giving it a bit of his own Aura

"-I release your soul, and by my side, unshackle thee!"

As Adam finished his chant, her own soul lit up with a spark as it was filled to the brim with a new found energy, the foreign yet gentle Aura of Adam helping her adapt as the process seemingly ended peacefully

And yet-!

The ground cracked, the atmosphere froze, and Remnant shivered in fear as a powerful foreign being got ahold of unique laws it should have never had access to

Her Aura burst forth from the depths of her soul in a Kaleidoscope of intense colors, displacing the air pushing away everything that was close to her

Rias turned into a red blur from the side, being violently pushed away by the unexpected burst of power from Rimuru

[Acquired a new skill, renaming it to 'Semblance']

Great Sage said something, but it was completely ignored by her, her attention completely taken by something else

"Ah...!"

Rimuru gasped, looking at Adam before her (Who strangely wasn't pushed away by the burst of power), as she felt... Strangely connected with him

No- She could feel a deeper connection with him, her entire 'being' wrapped in a warm embrace of light as this connection was strengthened by the intimate process of unlocking her Aura

"Hnn~!"

Making eye contact with Adam, Rimuru made an indecent sound as she collapsed in his arms

On an completely unrelated note that has nothing to do with the development of the story.... Has it ever been confirmed that Rimuru is the reincarnation of Veldanava?

I'm quite confused- I've done some research- and some people are saying that he is indeed the reincarnation of Veldanava, and others are saying that he is the inheritor of his powers or something similar

What is the opinion of you all? I'm quite conflicted on this, so it wouldn't hurt to listen to other opinions
