Chapter 28

Rowan and I were kissing under the moonlight, my hands gliding up and down his chest as I drank in the passionate kisses. My heart felt like it could burst. I was full of so much tender affection that I could hardly take it.

The sensation of feeling wanted was addicting. Kisses were painless. Touches never left bruises. I had no idea that relationships could feel this way. The only love I had felt prior was full of conditions. Pressure to satisfy, while all I wanted to do was stop. This was nothing like that.

Every kiss left me hungrier for another. Touches ignited a fire in my heart. I didn’t want to stop. I only wanted to get closer to him. My skin absolutely burned for him. Rowan and I were only kissing, but it felt like so much more.
