"What happened to me?" Braeden asked once he reached the group because he couldn't remember. However, no one answered his question as they were all focused on Ailwin's glowing body.

They had never seen such a sight before. 

"Captain!" Braeden yelled to get his Captain's attention.

"Huh?...Oh! Yes, General Gilwenys, sir!" 

"What happened?"

"Um...sir, you slipped and fell. The Commander rushed out to save you, but slipped and touched the wall."

"I fell."

"Yes, sir."

Braeden remembered climbing up the rope, but then every else was a blank sheet after that.

Looking over at his friend who was shining like a beacon in the night, he surmised that Ailwin must have found what was wrong with the wall; Leaving him no choice but to use his gifts.

Damnit!

He knew Ailwin using his gifts was like a double edge sword. As bright as his friend was glowing right now, meant the purer the energy flowing through his body was.
