King Magzor threw every dish on the dining table onto the floor. Once there was no more left he looked around for something else to take his anger out on.

"How can this be…! How!?" He shouted over and over.

"Father, calm down." Deulere walked over to him

"Deulara, how am I supposed to calm down in this situation. He made a fool out of me!"

"Father, how could you have not read the contract?" Elethra asked, looking at her father in disappointment.

"I...I-I did read it!…" Magzor ignored the doubtful looks sent his way by everyone in the room.

"If you read it then why did you sign it?" Elethra could believe her father, the King of their country, signing away Nobet Kingdom to an outsider.

"He...he...he must have switch the papers." Magzor was not going to admit that he only read one section of the contract. The rest he had taken on good faith that it was all the same contract as before.
