Rami walked beside Christoph through the corridors leading to the classroom, where the lesson was about to begin. The students' chatter echoed around, and the whispers that slipped between the crowded walls reflected the liveliness of the place. But something was different today. Rami felt a strange sensation, as if everyone's gaze was on him constantly. Every time he passed by a group of students, the whispers grew louder, and the eyes scrutinized him with looks ranging from curiosity to judgment.

Christoph couldn't help but smile as he watched the scene unfold. He turned to Rami and said enthusiastically, "It seems you've become the talk of the school, Rami. Everyone is talking about you now. Maybe you'll even gain some admirers."

Rami, without turning, continued walking with steady steps, though his heart pounded intensely. He hadn't expected to attract this much attention so quickly. Suddenly, he felt something different ahead. It was her. Her beauty was enchanting. The girl stood at the front of a small group of girls, her features reflecting confidence and strength. She was dressed in elite attire, and her eyes shone with a coldness like ice.

Her eyes met Rami's for a brief moment, then she turned her back to him calmly as if meeting him wasn't worth her attention. She continued walking with her two companions who were behind her. Rami felt a twinge of anxiety wash over him, but he composed himself and pulled Christoph's arm, who seemed to have frozen in shock.

"What are you doing? Why did you drag me like that? You should have at least greeted her!" Christoph said once he regained his composure, with a look of displeasure on his face.

Rami, slightly nervous, sighed and said, "You fool, do you want me to embarrass myself? Didn't you see that she ignored me? Why should I greet someone who doesn't want to talk to me?"

Christoph smirked sarcastically and said, "You don't know her, do you?"

Rami shook his head in confusion and said, "Who is she? I've never heard of her before."

Christoph looked at him with clear surprise and said, " Roxy Lin, the baron's daughter. She's the top student in the first year, surpassing all other nobles. She's now the class president for the elite second-year students and also the vice-president of the student council. Everyone is talking about her. She's famous in the kingdom."

Rami raised his eyebrows in astonishment, unable to hide his surprise. "So she's truly talented... but why all this attention? You're a duke's son, and she's just a baron's daughter. Why the interest?"

Christoph's expression changed unexpectedly, and he replied seriously, "It's not that simple, Rami. True, I come from a higher rank, but Lynn is different. She's not only noble but exceptionally talented. If she continues like this, she might join the global academy in the future and become a prominent figure. Everyone wants to stay on her good side because they know her power will only grow, and no one wants to be her enemy."

Rami thought about Christoph's words. He knew that the noble world was complex, but he hadn't expected it to be to this extent. "So, the major families will seek to control her, right? Maybe through marriage or threatening her family. Geniuses don't stay free for long without support."

... Christoph glanced sideways at Rami, his expression shifting to one of surprise. He said with a wry smile, "It seems you understand how this world works better than I thought. You're right, but there are bigger details. The royal family was the first to notice Roxy's talent. They saw great potential in her and took advantage of the fact that her family was under severe pressure from two baronial families, and Lin's family was on the brink of losing their noble title."

Christoph paused for a moment as if events were passing before his eyes, then continued, "Her family was in a desperate situation. Accumulated debts and pressure from political allies began to erode their standing. That's when the royal family intervened, saving the situation in an unexpected way. They provided support to Lin's family and restored some of their influence. After that, no one dared to harass them, and Roxy Lin became part of the royal family's faction."

Rami raised his eyebrows further in astonishment. "So, she's not just a talented noble but has direct royal support. That changes everything."

Christoph nodded, saying seriously, "Exactly. She's now one of the closest friends of the princess personally, and she is considered a strong arm of the royal family within the academy. That explains why everyone avoids approaching or confronting her. Everyone knows that opposing her means opposing the royal family itself."

Rami felt the situation becoming more complicated. "So, this isn't just ordinary student competition. She holds political and military influence as well."

Christoph smiled bitterly and said, "Yes, she represents the royal family's influence in the school, in addition to Prince kane being with her."

Rami and Christoph entered the classroom, where the seats were arranged in a semi-circle facing the professor's platform. Everything in the room reflected luxury and technological advancement, from the artwork decorating the walls to the modern devices scattered around the hall.

Instead of a traditional blackboard, there was an interactive magical display showing information and diagrams in 3D. Professor Ulrich, known as one of the greatest minds in theoretical magic in the kingdom, stood beside this display, his features showing expertise and superiority.

The professor began speaking in a calm, authoritative voice as he pointed to the screen displaying complex magical designs and formations. "Today, we will discuss a rare and unique type of magical power that few know about: the power of the mind."

Students felt increasing curiosity. On the screen, the professor began showing a 3D model illustrating how mana gathers in the mind rather than the body or heart. "In the world of magic, not everyone has mana gathering in their body like warriors or in their heart like wizards. There are rare cases where mana gathers in the mind, and its effect manifests as mental power. These individuals are called Alchemists or Runists. "

A student raised their hand and asked, "How many people have become Alchemists or Runists in the school?"

Professor Ulrich, changing the display to show statistics and charts, answered, "The truth is, those who become Alchemists or Runists are extremely rare. Out of every hundred people who awaken, twenty-five become wizards, but out of every thousand who awaken, only ten become Alchemists or Runists. Currently, we have seven mental students in the school: four of them are Alchemists and three are Runists."

The professor added, switching the display to show two types of mental powers, "When a person awakens and shows mental ability, they have two main options: they can become an Alchemist, specializing in creating potions that enhance physical and mental abilities, or they can become a Runist, focusing on crafting magical formations and runic tools like the storage ring that everyone uses."

Christoph whispered to Rami, "It's not just a matter of abilities. Alchemists and Runists are not only rare but also among the wealthiest people in the magical world. Manufacturing potions and formations puts them in a very powerful position, and knowing the demand for these products means they have great opportunities to amass wealth."

A student asked, "How can one decide between becoming an Alchemist or a Runist?"

Professor Ulrich, displaying an interactive model showing the difference between Alchemists and Runists, answered, "It depends on the strength of the mind where the mana is concentrated upon awakening. Individuals with mana concentrated in the head area have strong mental abilities and can choose to become Alchemists or Runists. Alchemists tend to specialize in potion-making and magical chemistry, while Runists focus on designing and crafting precise magical formations and tools."

The professor pointed to a display showing runic tools like storage rings and magical formations. "Magical formations like these can be used to create powerful effects. Alchemists have the ability to combine magical components in ways that wouldn't be achievable through traditional methods."

Rami nodded in understanding but was very curious about this type of magic, so he raised his hand and asked, "Can anyone become an Alchemist or Runist, or are there specific requirements?"

The professor replied, "Not everyone who wishes to become an Alchemist or Runist can achieve that. Having a distinctive mental power is a prerequisite, and only those with mana gathering in their mind upon awakening can acquire these abilities."

As the lesson ended, students began gathering outside the classroom. Rami was excited to learn more about this new field of magic. Little did he know that he would soon need this knowledge.
