Stuck with a single dad 👨‍👦( episode 5) 

Continuation from last scene 

Then moved to the kitchen to get some water, as he was still petting the baby that was crying... 

He drank some water and gave little to the baby.. immediately he gave the baby water.. he stopped crying.. 

They went back to the room.. then he place the baby on his back so that he can sleep.. After few minutes the baby slept off.. and he also used the opportunity to sleep too.. 

Scene 2( the following morning, )

Henry came out of the room and met no one in the living room.. he checked the time.. 9am? Then he moved to the room Samuel and the baby is sleeping... 

He knocked several times but no response.. so he opened the door carefully and met both of them sleeping.. he dropped a long sigh and closed the door.. then he left for work after that.. 

Some hours after that Samuel woke up and met the baby still sleeping.. he checked on him and went to the bathroom to ease himself.. he came out immediately to check on kelvin. 

Some minutes aftrr that the baby woke up, Samuel quickly attended to him by carrying him.. 

Wakie wakie.. how are you.. he asked the baby as he was yawning.. 

Are you hungry? Will you take milk? He said while throwing the baby up and shaking his body.. 

Whike doing that the baby began to laugh.. 

Samuel: good boy good boy... now you're laughing right? Don't cry again ok.. yesterday you kept me awake up till 4am.. eeh? You this fine baby boy you kept me awake..

Don't do that again ok.. you know I love you right.. 

The baby was just laughing and using his mouth to bìte Samuel on his face..

Samuel: you're laughing right? See his face.. he said while kissin the baby all over his face.. 

Scene 3( Henry at work).

Some hours aftrr he got to work.. he began to feel uncomfortable as he couldn't focus on his work.. 

Then memories of what he said to Samuel yesterday night came to his and he couldn't do away with it.. 

He kept on chewing his pen.. 

Henry: hmmm... what is going on with me? Why am I feeling this way? 

I only reacted that way because I'm human and I love my son.. I hope he doesn't take it yo heart too much.. 

He said and continue working.. 

Few minutes later.. he was still feeling that way.. infact he felt more. 

Then he picked his phone and open his WhatsApp. Then open his conversation with Samuel.. 

Then he began typing" hello how are you? Then he erased it... then he type again" good morning bro, hope you're good, I notice you were still sleeping when I was ready to go.. how is kelvin doing? Then he read what he typed over and over again before he eventually clicked the send button.. 

Then he dropped his phone and continue with his work.. 

Few minutes later he checked back and saw a message from Samuel. He quickly opened it and saw. "Kelvin is fine. "

Henry: hmmm is that all you have to say? He said to himself while reading the message over and over.. 

Then he immediately call Samuel..

On call..

Henry: hey bro.. howfer! He said with a lively voice.. 

Samuel: fine. He responded calmly..

Henry: how is kelvin.. is he still crying? 

Samuel: No sir.. 

Henry: hmmm.. ok thank you I just want to ask if there is any problem 

Samuel: nothing!

Henry: alright bye take care.. 

Samuel: kept mute... and ended the call..

Henry: ahh.. he's obviously angry at me.. he said as he turned to his laptop to continue working.. 

Several hours later.. it was closing time.. 

Henry quickly arrange his office and took his work and left the office.. 

On his way going back he stopped at a restaurant and got them dinner.. 

Ge bought so many food in large quantities.. 

He go back home and met Samuel and kelvin playing and laughing..

He felt so happy seeing them that way.. 

Samuel: immediately Henry came in

He changed his facial looks and stood up from the couch.. 

Welcome! He said calmly 

Henry: thank you! He said and smiled at his baby.. 

Kelvin baby.. I can see you're happy now.. as he eaten? 

Samuel: yes. Some minutes ago.. 

Henry: alright thank you.. what about you have you eaten? 

Here, I bought some food.. he said pointing the leather to samuel..

Samuel: hope the food is for kelvin? 

Henry: i don't get you.. aren't you hungry? 

Samuel: no, I have eaten.. 

Henry: huh? How? 

Samuel: not from your kitchen please... I didn't touch any of that.. 

Henry: then what did you eat? 

Samuel: i told my sister to bring food for me... so I have eaten..

Henry: huh? You did what? 

How can you do that? Do you want them to see me as a bàd person and I'm not feeding you? 

Samuel: they will think about that.. so you don't have to worry sir..

Henry: hmmm... he paused and looked at Samuel.. 

Its fine! If that is what you want no problem.. 

Samuel: yes. 

Henry: but I bought some ice cream for you.. if you're interested 

Samuel: I'm not interested sir.. thank you. 

Henry: ok ok! I won't force you.. 

Help me put them in the fridge. 

Samuel: took the stuff and went to put them in the fridge.. 

Then came back to carry kelvin..

Henry: where are you taking him to? I still want to play with him. 

Samuel: okay.. he said and turn back moving to his room.. 

Henry: where are you going? He asked immediately 

Samuel: i want to go to my room..

Henry: why? Can't you stay here? Are you avoiding me? 

Samuel: I'm not avoiding you sir.. I just want to stay in my lane..

Henry: hmmm what do you mean by that? 

Samuel: as the baby is with you now it means I can have some privacy to myself at least..

Henry: is the baby stopping you from having any privacy? 

Samuel: sigh.. its ok please 

I'll just sit here and wait till you're done having your time with your son..

Then he sat on a couch very far from Henry.. 

Henry: hmmm.. maybe I should be the one to leave.. he said and stood up immediately..

Samuel: i never said that.

Henry: no its fine.. he said and left.. 

Immediately he left.. Samuel quickly move to where the baby was sitting and began to play with him... 

About an hour later Henry came out to check on them only to find out that they have both slept off.. 

Henry moved closer staring at how Samuel used his hands to wrap kelvin..

Henry: hmmm... they both look cute! 

He said and smiled.. then move more closer staring at them.. 

Boom... Samuel suddenly opened his eyes and saw Henry looking at him..

They both maintain eye contact for like 7 seconds.. before Henry removed his eyes immediately and quickly left to his room..

Samuel: hmmmm.. he sighed and then closed his eyes and continue sleeping.. 

Scene 5... ( the following day) 

Samuel was cleaning the living room when Henry came out and met him.. 

Samuel: good morning 

Henry: good morning, how your night? 

Samuel: fine. 

Henry: I'm not going to work today.. 

Samuel: ok.. 

Henry: ok? Wont you ask why? 

Samuel: my Job in this house is to look after kelvin. 

Henry; hmmm.. common bro stop na! Aren't you tired of getting angryy with me.. you should I was only acting on impulse and any human will do so too

Samuel: i never said you did wrong! I'm just reminding you what you said to me.

Henry: moved closer to Samuel..

Oya sorry no vex! OK? I just don't want to see my son get hurt 

Samuel: so you think I'll intentionally let him get hurts? I mean he's a baby Henry. Things like this are prone to happen.. I didn't neglect my duty as a nanny to him.. 

Henry: i know I'm sorry ok.. 

Samuel: but let me remind you.. if you have forgotten. Hope you still remember how we got here? I never asked for this job.. you begged me for it.. and I agreed because I love your son. 

Henry: i know you do.. I'm sorry for shouting at you.. please! 

Samuel: its ok.. I'm not angryy again..

Henry: so you were angryy before? 🤣

Samuel: yes na..

Henry: funny guy.. so you want me go be begging you like a lady right? 

Samuel: no please... just say sorry thats all

Henry: hahah.. I have said it right? We're now cool right? 

Samuel: yeah sure.. 

Henry: so what will you cook for us this morning? 

Samuel: huh? 😒😒 you said I shouldn't enter the kitchen again.. 

Henry: you should know I cannot stop you from doing so.. I only said that because I was angryy.. 

Samuel: hmmm ok.

Henry: so what will you cook? 

Samuel: should i make the pan cakes? 

Henry: exactly.. that is what I want you to do self.. I just couldn't say it.. 

Samuel: hahaha... pride right? 

Henry: not really.. let me say i was scared 

Samuel: scared? Why would you? This is your house.. 

Henry: i know.. but I didn't want to get you angryy the more.. 

Samuel: hmm its fine I understand..

Let me go and make it fast before the owner of this house wakes up.. 

Henry: and who is that? Lol

Samuel: kelvin! 

Henry: 🤣🤣🤣🤣.. you're so funny 

I wasn't expecting that at all.. 

Samuel: hahaha.. 

Henry: let go together so I can watch and learn how you make it 

Samuel: alright.. 

They both left for the kitchen.. 

Some minutes later they were done making it.. both of them seating at the dinning table about to eat when they heard kelvin crying from the room.. 

Samuel: let me get him.. 

He said and left hurriedly 

Then came back with him.. 

Henry: fine boy.. you're finally awake ? He said while stretching his hands to carry him

The baby refuses as usual.. 

Hmm.. stay there then. Whp wants to carry you self? 😒😒 he said feeling disappointed. 

Samuel: hahahaha... he pain you? 

Henry: why won't it pain me? 😒

Samuel: don't worry with time he will learn to be free with you.. 

Henry: hmm he doesn't have choice.. I'm his dad.. 

Samuel: of course! 

So why didn't you go to work today? 

Henry: i usually don't go to work on Friday because its half day..

Samuel: okay cool.. I will be going home today. Hope you remember 

Henry: wow its weekend already? 

Why na.. can't you just stay? 

Samuel: that is not part of the agreement Henry.. I need to go home and rest. 

Henry: i know but just go tomorrow please.. 

Samuel; and still come back Sunday? 

Henry: yeah.. I don't think I can withstand two night with this boy here.. 

I'm fvcking serious.. or why don't you go with him?

Samuel: hmmm... no ooo you have to chose one.. 

Henry: hmmm go tomorrow afternoon and come back Sunday evening.. 

I'll take care of him then.. 

Samuel: you're breaking the rules.. 

Henry: no vex bro.. just help me please 

You don't know the kind of stress this boy makes me pass through... cry cry cry all the time.. 

Samuel: hmmm its fine..

Henry: thank you! I owe you two things now.. 

Samuel: hmmm.. 

Henry: don't worry I'll take you and kelvin out today around evening time.. let me go and flex you guys..

Samuel: hmmm what kind of flex? 

Henry: we go to a nice restaurant and eat then go to cinema.. 

Samuel: why going out to get all of this when you have a big television at home. And the food you bought yesterday is still in the freezer.. I can warm it for you.

Henry: but no popcorn 😕.. watching movie without popcorn is boring 

Samuel: that is not an issue I can go and get that close by for you.. 

Henry: no don't worry I'll go and get that later.. 

So you will join me and watch the movie right? 

Samuel: why not? I love watching movie too.. 

Henry: okay good.. 

Then they continue eating and gisting.. 

Scene 7( night hours, Henry and samuel at the living room about to start watching the film),

Samuel: guy what kind of movie are we watching ? He asked as he began to chew the popcorn.. 

Henry: just a normal America movie.. he said while trying to connect his phone to the smart TV.. 

Samuel; okay

Henry: aftrt doing so, he joined Samuel and sat beside him..

Kelvin is still sleeping? 

Samuel: yeah.. should I bring him here? 

Henry: no, its fine.. 

Then they both pay attention to the movie as it began.. 

Few seconds later the TV screen was still blank.. 

Samuel: what is going on? They are not showing anything? 

Henry: guy calm down.. they will soon start..

Samuel: okay o.. he responded and kept his eyes glued to the screen.. 

Then a weird sound track began to play... 

Samuel: hmm finally there is sound.. he said while chewing his popcorn and his eyes remain glued on the screen.. 

Boom! A very scary looking thing like alìen suddenly showed on the screen shouting...

Samuel who was caught unaware quickly threw away his popcorn cup and jumped on Henry's body...shouting and panting so loud... 

Jesussss Jesussss Jesus..... he said continuously.. while on Henry's body

Henry: 🤣🤣🤣🤣 watin be this, what is this guy... why you jump on me like this.. 

Samuel: quickly bèat Henry on his shoulders several times... why did you do that? Why did you play this kind of movie.. he said as his eyes were closed.. 

Henry: 😳😳😳 why are you bèàting me? He asked looking surprised.. 

Samuel: why did you play a scary movie? Do you know how you got me scared.. 

Henry: smiling and looking at Samuel... 

Samuel: what is funny? Why are you looking at me that way.. 

Henry: you're pressing my diick with your legs.. 

Samuel: huh? You say? 

Henry: you're pressing my diick.. 

Samuel: oh sorry.. he said and quickly jumped away from his body.. 

Henry: or do you want it? 

Samuel: want what? 

Henry: my diick na....

Samuel: Jesussss..... 😳😳
