Unexpected Help

Blue paced around nervously looking up from the core. Yllana had been sleeping for a week now. Her body has grown weaker since she is not taking in any nourishment and there was no mage around to help. She stomped her feet in frustration and yelled, "Master, you have to wake up!"

"She won't hear you." Leaning against a tree, the thunder phoenix placed his arms across his chest and yawned. 

Blue's eyes shot daggers if daggers could come out from her eyes that is. "At least I tried, unlike some useless freeloaders on space rings…" she muttered more silent curses against the phoenix as she raised her chin and turned her back on him.

He sighed. "I could help her, you know." His words fell on deaf ears. He noticed that the blue woman was already far away from where he is standing. "Should I even help her? She said she did not want me." He lowered his gaze and pondered for a moment.
