Chapter 87 and so on...

Hey first of all... hi there I am the author of this novel which has been not so updated for a long time now.

Why haven't I been updating?

Many reasons really but the most frequent one that keeps popping up is motivation and being unable to get my ideas in my head onto paper/written down. Then putting it off for later and not picking it up for a long time due to procrastination on whether I should write a new chapter or not... >.<

How will the future of this novel continue if it does?

I cannot make any promises on the daily or weekly updates because that would be unfair towards the viewers if I said I would write a certain amount per week and then break that promise, plus I doubt I would be able to handle the backlash since I am weak to criticism. So.... please be understanding! :)

How has the novel progressed?

At first it began as a hobby, I started reading Zhan Long moved onto different novels on gravity tales and Wuxiaworld until I found myself here... started reading lots of '3rd miss reborn in cultivation world' like novels and quite liked them. I thought of how they all tended to become predictable after reading a few and followed the same kinda storyline. I liked the ones that gave twists the most and strayed from the cold, handsome and overpowered future husband dotes on the female lead until she grows. Although it isn't a crime for a women to rely on a man... I thought a more independent character was better so after reading lots I got the idea to write one I may enjoy as a hobby.

I came up with the idea of being reborn as a deer because... wolf, fox, dragon, Phoenix reincarnations or transformations tend to be used often and with a reincarnation novel where the fl has a lot of knowledge and experience it's best that her starting point is poor otherwise she will grow far too fast that it will ignore her personal growth along with her actions and the effects they will bring to the world around her.

Why does the fl have 2 attributes?

She was originally very talented in light attribute in her first life, her soul was formed and nurtured with light spirit energy. After her 'death' and rebirth she had residue dark attribute eroding her soul after her final release of power before falling into the mortal world as a soul. Her dormant and damaged soul fused with the unborn beast soul fusing them together producing a damaged but unique soul. The body inherited the affinity that the soul had traces of... darkness and light.

Try to think of it like this... a soul seizes a body and it must be dominant in order to erase the hosts soul or sharing a body the outer soul remains in the body to remain intact but influences the hosts soul waiting for a chance for weakness. But this wasn't the case for our fl because one was on the verge of death and the other was just beginning to form its own life so as they didn't fight for dominance but instead crashed into one another purely accidental and merged forcefully resulting in the damage. = she lives most of her earlier years living as a dumb character which relies purely on instinct to get by.

What on earth have I been doing all this time?

Binging I guess... whether it's various anime, manga, tv series I enjoy or binge reading on lots of different web novels

Have I read the comments?

I do read on occasion and tend to find the odd comment like. 'I declare I shall stop reading if you do not update!' And all I can say is... shrug! Complaining isn't going to make me write any faster or put me in the mood to write.

As for the comments that point out the faults in my writing.... Thank you! It really helps me a lot as an author to be able to get some positive criticism back.
