due to the rotational power of the whirlpool, the mana turned into the huge shredding tool— capable of tearing any objects to nothingness—due to this, the humanity has fallen into terror while still being unaware of the life-form that was being created inside the whirlpool.

Reading the letters, the cat-eared girl shred tears as she realized that she wouldn't be able to see her mother again.
