Chapter 16: Concert (3)

After performing Beggin, Ethan played the last song. Ethan was already feeling dry in his throat, he glanced at Noah who gave him a sign that he needed two more songs to perform.

Ethan immediately started singing after giving the band a thumbs-up.

"I heard that you're settled down...That you found a boy and you're married now.."

"I heard that your dreams came true...Guess he gave you things, I didn't give to you.."

"Old friend, why are you so shy? Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light..."

"I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited, but I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it, I had hoped you'd see my face, and that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over.."

Edward listened to the song, he could remember his first wife, the woman he grew up with and married.

"Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too.."

"Don't forget me, I beg I remember you said: Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead, sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead..."

"You know how the time flies, only yesterday was the time of our lives

we were born and raised in a summer haze, bound by the surprise of our glory days.."

"I hate to turn up out of the blue, uninvited but I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded that for me, it isn't over.."

"Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too.."

"Heok...:" The 6'4 jockey once again burst into tears.

"Dude...Really? You were jumping up and down, and now you crying again?" One of his friends facepalmed.

"I hope she doesn't forget me.." He cried and covered his eyes in embarrassment.

"Dude..." His friends were receiving strange glances from their classmates and juniors which made them incredibly ashamed. They didn't expect that their tough friend would break down, especially in a concert!

"Don't forget me, I begged I remember you said sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead"

"Nothing compares, no worries or cares regrets and mistakes, they're memories made. Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?"

"Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you.."

'What kind of bitch broke his heart?' One of Ethan's fans questioned.

"Never mind, I'll find someone like you I wish nothing but the best for you, too.."

"Don't forget me, I begged I remember you said sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead, sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead..."

Ethan was tired, his throat felt as if it was being scratched.

SweetTooth who noticed Ethan's dilemma immediately took to the stage to perform the last song to hype the crowd. He gave a wink at Ethan who nodded in response and went backstage and immediately drank water.

"I'm glad SweetTooth agreed that he would perform the last song, Huu, I was so worried for you Ethan." Noah patted Ethan's shoulder as he heaved a sigh of relief.

"Yeah. I'm glad that it's over..." Ethan said. 'Just what's wrong? My vocals are at B- yet I couldn't finish five songs?' Ethan grimaced.

He thought that if he increased his Vocals he could perform at ease, the problem was that even with the increased vocals he began feeling faint. Not only that his vocal chords started aching.

[The answer is that the host needs to upgrade Stamina]

'Stamina? That wasn't there before!' Ethan thought.

[Sorry, due to the upgrade the system also had to undergo major changes]

[The system has been upgraded and new functions have been added]

[Since the host is focusing on his music career, the system has only added the Stamina upgrade]

'Damn it...More upgrades.' Ethan sighed. The system wasn't giving him an easy time. 'How many fan points do I need to increase my stamina?'

[Exactly 1 million fan points]

Ethan stood up and decided to ignore the system as he watched SweetTooth's performance. Ethan could describe SweetTooth with one word.

"Awesome.." Ethan said. 

The way SweetTooth vibes with his fans and the way he interacts with them was something that Ethan was lacking. What amazed Ethan was that although SweetTooth already performed 15 songs, he didn't even break a sweat.

SweetTooth was one amazing singer-rapper. Even Ethan could say with certainty that if SweetTooth existed on his earth he would become an icon. 

While Ethan was immersed in watching SweetTooth, Noah was currently in a prickle. He was talking with Ryan on the phone who was panicking.

[It's going crazy, I don't even know where they got these assumptions from!] 

Ryan who was on the phone kept shouting, that he was currently handling a scandal.

"The heck Ethan has only been in the music industry for a week and a scandal already happened?" Noah whispered. He began piecing the information one by one. This was his first musician! A musician who has risen to fame in a week and an issue was already being written.

"Try to divert their attention to something else.." Noah said. He hung up the phone and quickly searched through the internet.

Some students lived the whole concert, and many viewers were watching the show. The issue was, that before Ethan performed numerous pictures were uploaded from different media outlets.

It was pictures of him and Natalie. Thus the media began preying on the young star. Many who were bored with their lives loved the drama and speculations in artist's lives.

Numerous question marks were written on Media Articles due to the photo's popping up of Ethan inside of Natalie's car.
