"Cody Banks" is a typical kids action comedy with theme only suitable for teenagers and children. It makes them laugh and enjoy it. This is the only purpose of such a movie and "Cody Banks" is fulfilling it. One can take their children to watch the movie.
"Noah Martin has given a good performance in the movie. He made a movie matching his age class, trying not to challenge the difficult roles which he doesn't have much command on. He placed himself as a child actor and was good in it."
Roger Ebert gave movie 2.5 out of four stars. He commented: "A typical pg 7 action comedy movie with nothing new to offer, except for more good faces."
"A slow lame movie with nothing but a beautiful face to offer. Of course, this movie will only appeal to those children, teenagers and fanatic women who are just smithen with Noah Martin's face."
The most deadly as always, "National Enquirer" reviewed: " 'Agent Cody Banks' has no new content of its own. It follows the same old recipe which we are quite acquainted with. Noah Martin who gave an excellent performance in "The Perdition" was no where to be seen. He disappointed those a lot of movie fans who wanted to see content, but I bet the most of the people just watched a beautiful face for two hours and were satisfied with it. Although it was worth the price for those women."
"Noah Martin who has gained a lot of popularity in the past year wether it is because of his acting, singing or appearence made his first movie debut as a male lead in a movie. Noah's popularity has been soaring with each passing day among the teenagers wether it is boys or girls."
Noah read all the reviews and his face was a little weird, he looked at Mike beside him: "What's the matter with these people. It was a commercial comedy, so how can I act like the "Perdition". "
"Don't mind National Enquirer. Its job has always been to go against other actors. Although the reviews are quite mixed. But for you, they are all beneficial. Have you noticed that your Co-actor Hillary didn't even got half of your fame and hype after the release."
Noah nodded. He agrees with this point. The movie has helped him a lot. His single which was on 77th place on BillboardHot 100 despite even after releasing an MV, has now again started to climb the charts.
"By the way, when are you going to release your next single?"
"On Monday, after the weekend box office of movie comes out." replied Noah.
"Are all the preparations completed."
"Yes, they are almost complete. I talked with Max and he is satisfied with the final version of singles. But Theo has asked me to go to the studio to make a final check."
Noah has made a lot of preparations for his next two singles. The ones that are going to be released are "Cuz I can" and "Goodbye childhood". Both of them are pop songs with the first one having a little element of soul and blue. Max wanted him to release "A walk for a day" first, but Noah has planned it for the later.
On Monday, the box office results of the "Cody Banks" came out. It came on the second place with a box office of 17 million $ , just a little behind "Bringing down the house".
These are excellent results, much better than Noah and Company expected. Once again, Noah came into highlights.

While people were discussing the Box Office of Noah's movie, Noah once again surprised everyone by releasing his two new singles together. "Cuz I can" and "Goodbye childhood" were released together. This time they had both the boost of Noah's music as well as Movie's popularity. The first one "Cuz I can" debuted at number 13 and the latter "Goodbye Childhood" on number 17 on BillboardHot 100 chart. This took everyone once again by surprise.
