196 Betrayal is a Symptom of Greed
"How utterly delicious... the brave and oh so successful king of Treppa bleeding on MY dungeon floor," Darius grinned, his words heavy with satisfaction and sarcasm.
The Dolkan king stood opposite his Treppan rival; Sebastian the Second, who was now chained to a wall, and beat beyond recognition, his cheek cut and his clothes torn, Darius laughed in victory.
"Fool," he sneered, "You thought you could hide in MY land? That my own people would betray me?" he smiled, "My people are not hungry like yours. Betrayal is a symptom of greed Sebastian... my people want for nothing."
"They may want for nothing but at least my kingdom is not built on the backs of the weak!" Sebastian spat back, staining the perfectly white robes that Darius wore with the blood from his mouth!
"Disgusting..." Darius curled his lip and attemped to wipe the spot from his chest.
"But it is built on blood," Darius added and Sebastian knew of what he was speaking.
