What can I do?

Aaron taps his fingers on the wooden table which makes a sound in the silence.

Adia has no idea what is going inside his mind, but her mind is messed up. She did not expect to encounter them after such a sweet evening she had. To her bad, she left Aaron in this room. She could not sit also, as he had not asked her to take a seat, so she is standing from the time she came.

She remembered going to meet her Robin, as much as she was happy before, that all gone after seeing this stoic face person. She just could not stand his aura. It is suffocating her a lot. She thought to ignore his existence, remembering her happy evening.

She was hugging Robin, who hugged her back, they stayed like that for some time before breaking the hug. He looked at her top to toe, while she stared at him confusingly...

Adia, "Why are you looking at me like this, Robin?" asked him...

Robin, "How is the injury you got two months back?" asked her back...

Adia swallowed hard the lump in her throat, she thought he would have forgotten that, and won't ask her about it. Here is asking the first question about that accident. He many times asked her to take care of herself, otherwise, he will take her back with him. And she won't have the chance to roam around like she wants. Even though she does complain about it, she does not want to burden him.

He loves her, and she does the same and loves to be at his side. Their life is not like a normal people's life where they will wake up in the morning and go to work and return safely back to their place. They can not say what will happen to them next.

Robin snapped fingers at her front to bring her back to her sense who seems lost in thought because of his question...

Adia came back to reality from the thinking, looked at him, and smiled a little, "I am alright now. And doing good here in this new city," tells him or says trying to convince him...

Robin looked at her narrowing his eyes, "is it?" asked her again...

Adia nod her head vigorously, "Yes, and the new work did not wear me out. Remember I called you and told you about the work and places?" asked him...

Robin nods his head thinking it for a moment...

Adia, "anyways, I am learning or say I am using what I studied," said him with her smiling face.

Robin stared at her smiling face, he finds it she was indeed happy while doing this work of hers unlike the previous one. So, he is not worried about it. And the Li company is the best choice as she discussed with him her current situation. As no one takes information about who working under that company. That was also one of the reasons, why he allowed her to work there. And this city is not a place for a naive girl like her, it has another side as well.

Robin, "I will my men's for safety here," tells her...

Adia widen her eyesinsulinn shock upon hearing him, "No do not bother, I am already safe enough here," said him quickly not wanting to be monitored...

Robin raised his eyebrows hearing her quick reply...

Adia smiled idiotically, "I will call you if there is any problem as I promised to you last time, please" begged him...

Robin sighed heavily having the little stubborn girl. "Keep your word, because I not going to give you a chance next time," Warned her before agreeing with her words...

Adia grinned wide like a kid and kissed him on his cheek...

Robin smiled a little, and geintoon a serious talk with her.

Adia heard him intently, her eyes became watery.

Robin felt bad seeing her like that nevertheless she needs to know the truth. He did not tell her what is the most important thing she has to know. But he is contemplating whether to say that now or not. Because she is too young to take this blow from her grandparents. Wipes her tears and hugged her close to his heart...

Adia wiped her tears in his arms, "is he doing good," asked him...

Robin, "he is fine, but I believed they did not treat him properly," mused to her...

Adia can feel the anger building up in him just hearing his tone. Even though he tries to act normal to her. She knows what is he. And how is he? "I am not new to hearing it. Noram believed in them. I am just worried for grandfather and grandmother," tells him back softly...

Robin, "There is something you should know," said her bringing her back to the present...

Adia, "What is it?" asking it looked up at him...

Robin said something that shocked her to life...

Adia, "You are kidding me, right?" asked him. Not believing what he just said now to her. What Anthony thee her grandparents thinking while doing this thinks inside her mind...

Robin also felt ridiculous knowing this same like her, but he is not like her, he is a rational person. He could understand what made them do something like this. Even though it is not good make her turn upside down as than already. It will flip her for sure the choice they made for her. He does understand that will keep her safe and alive if she does that...

Adia still not believing what she heard from him. She could not able to digest the fact, and she is not going to do something like that that they asked her to do. She felt sour in her heart...

Robin, "What are you thinking to do?" asked her...

Adia, "What can I do? What do you think I will do hearing it?" asked him back puffing her cheeks...

Robin chuckled after punching her cheek little...
