i..i'm cold

She breathed in trying to calm her scared heart down 4 years already passed why is he coming back suddenly?

She walked aimlessly, she had no idea how she found her room . she laid on the bed and thought about the reason why he's coming back. After all those years why would he come back .

A distant memory resurface ...

* a girl she knew very well , was wearing a yellow crop top paired with faded jeans that showed they've been watched couple of times . She was 13 years that year.

" brother wait ," running to the man in front of her that seemed to be around 19 years old .

The man paused a little but still continued walking,but with smaller steps . soon the girl caught up to him ,

" Can you please not leave now . give me time please" her voice sounded immature at the same time cracked . She didn't notice his clenched fist. She walked towards him and hugged him ,an innocent hug as she cry . " if you leave me ,I will..I will have no one to protect me you know . My dad will..he will come for me . Do you want me dead ? " .

We all have that darkness in us ,that we want no one to know . That one secret that we have we would rather die than let someone know it . That was the case with this man ,he was way secretive for Lira's liking. He was too distant , but attentive .

She thought she would change him,mould him to the person he wants . 3 years past in a blink of an eye . she turned 16 and started developing female features . She knew ' that man ' looked at her differently then .

She didn't hate it at that moment ,she liked the attention she received from him . He saved her from dying won't it be romantic if they fall in love ? that's what she always wanted.

She would day dream about when they fall in love , get married and maybe have few children . That was her dream .She was living for that.

At 16 she was suddenly blackmailed by Mary ,she started feeling small . She felt like she was dirty ,and started distancing herself from ' him'.

. That painful memory of that one stormy night was still raw in her mind .

" were you really going to leave without me informing me ? " her eyes watched him at that moment,the rain was pouring.

The man had an umbrella on while she was standing there without it .

.' I was ,why must I tell you ? what are you to me ? your just someone I rescued because I was bored " The man rolled his eyes . If you were to listen closely you could hear the crack in his voice.

" I ..I ..I don't find you entertaining anymore. " he told her with his cold eyes . That once upon time hold emotions for her .

" I...I'm cold " instead of crying or throwing a fuss ,she told him that . " I'm cold and tired ."

" Sable I'm cold use" .

Lira came back from that memories that felt so real ,like she was experiencing that menacing pain again . She wanted to shout so bad . Did she deserve any of this ? why was the gods cruel to her ?

." Sable " her voice cracked as she called that man her once upon time the moon and the sun met .

It was painful really painful . She wanted to die just by thinking of him . She loved him so much, she wanted to get over him so bad .

" you love me because I saved you right? that's not love Lira . That's just gratitude."

His words were still raw in her mind .
