Tomorrow?

Will stepped into his apartment. He set his bag and coat down with a flourish and headed towards the restroom. Inside, he found what looked like a small murder scene. Dried blood was pooled on the floor, and it was smeared across the counter. A bloody towel lay in a corner, as if some one had to tried to clean up and then given up. None of this disturbed him, as he was used to blood. What really threw him off was the large hardware blade laying next the the sink.

He stepped out into the small hallway and knocked on the guest room door. It slowly swung open to revel both guests wrapped around each other and fast asleep. After taking note of the bandages on the smaller one's arms, (What was his name again, Ryan?), he closed the door quietly and went to the small kitchen to begin dinner.

Riley woke still entwined in Sky's arms. He began to softly cry into Sky' bloodied shirt. Sky's hand rose to stroke Riley's dark brown hair. Riley moved away from the touch, overwhelmed by guilt. Sky stilled his hand and softly whisper into Riley's ear.

"I love you no matter what. You know that right?" Riley let out a muffled sob and nodded his head. Sky continued to stroke the smaller boy's hair and silently took in his boyfriend. He loved his beautiful, yet broken boyfriend but it hurt Sky that he didn't know how to help Riley.

They both lay in silence until a steady knock broke the spell. Riley took in the strong smell of cleaning chemicals and sat up to see the blonde standing in the door way. Riley vaguely remembered the man as Dr. Solangelo. The doctor informed the two men that food was ready and advised them to change before dinner.

Dressed in a clean t-shirt that advertised the 2008 Mud Fun Fundrun in Addison, Illinois, Sky walked out to the small kitchen/living room. He offered Dr. Solangelo help prepping the food to which he was told to call him Will. Brushing off the offer of help, Will turned to make sure Riley was still in the bathroom.

In a near whisper, Will asked Sky, "What happened to your friend? From the look of the bathroom, it may have been self inflicted." Sky just nodded and mentioned that he had it under control. Will gave Sky a look like he was about to say more but at the moment the bathroom door swung open.

Riley approached the kitchen dressed in on of Sky's too large sweatshirts. He did not make eye contact with either person and simply plopped down into a chair. Will and Sky grabbed the dishes and set them down at the table. Sky asked if they should wait for Nico but was informed the Nico wouldn't be home until much later.

Sky and Will devoured the food, but Riley simply played the game of pushing food around his plate. Sky cleared the table and loaded the dishwasher as Will sat in front of the TV and Riley slunk off to the guest room. He thanked Will for dinner and went to join his boyfriend.

Sky walked into the room and looked at the smaller boy. He said, "You know we have to discus this?" but it was more of a statement. Riley whispered, "Yes, but can we do it tomorrow?" Sky nodded and wrapped his arms around Riley. They both sunk into an armchair sitting in the corner of the room and fell asleep.
