The Cold Beside Me

Long Long ago in the old days there were a girl name YeebLaim. Who lived with her only father in a small little house. In the old days their house don't have any windows and if there is any guy who want to talk with the girls. They will have to find the girl's room and talk with them through the bamboo wall. As day goes by she will always do her normal things like chores. Then one night she was sleeping in her room and there was a guy name Pheng who came to talk with her through the bamboo wall. She then started talking with him as well and ever since the day they both started talking. When he leave she will always feel a cold air laying beside her every time when she sleep. Then one night she kept feeling the coldness beside her so she then asked her father to come sleep next to her. Then when YeebLaim's father slept next to her. She then didn't feel the cold air anymore. Then the next day she said "dad you don't have to sleep with me no more since there isn't anything". Then so on the next night the young guy, Pheng came and talked with her again. Then she said "may I see your hand?". Then he replied "sure but how are you going to see it?". She then said "I'll make a little hole in the wall so you can squeeze it in for me to look at it okay?". He said "alright here", Then she grabbed his hand and get one of his fingers, and decided to tie a string onto it. When they both finished talking he left to go home. The next day she decided to follow the string to see where do he live at? As she followed the string. She passed by a forest and some graves. Then the string make a circle going back towards her place. Then YeebLaib followed it all the way to see where exactly it goes then it reached her house and into her room. She then freaked out and told her dad about it. They both decided to move out and followed the dad's side cousins them to a new village. But...since they both were kind of poor they didn't have the money to do anything to protect her away from the spirit so then later just after 1 year she passed away.
