the men ran through the cave quickly as the beeping started to go ballistic in their hands as they moved through the tunnel before it stopped all at once.

They barged into an opening it looked like a massive cave air pocket but there was no air. It was dark so they turned on the flashlights on their shoulders. The whole cave ignited in a bright light

The lights took flight and hovered about 7 feet high in the cave and illuminated everything, once it cut on certain figures can be seen retracting into the darkness and the shadows. It gave the men shivers the scanner went quiet in their hands before it went off again. But to their horror, it was behind them and moving back through the tunnel.

Their faces turned pale white as they turned around towards the tunnel getting ready to dash through the tunnel.

CROAK~

KREAAK~

As they got ready to go into the tunnel a plethora of noises and ungodly sounds could be heard behind them. Their footsteps shuddered for a bit before they made a mad dash into the cave.

The scanner in the man's hand started to go wild as multiple dots started to pop up on the scanner behind them while there were two in front dashing towards the cave entrance.

There was a rock sitting there before it opened its eyes and blinked. It slowly turned red and fluffed out before standing up and stretching on its hind legs before looking down the tunnel that the men entered.

'So that's how mimicry works.' Jax stood up to his monstrous height of 6'7 he looked down the tunnel as his Antenna started to move and act up as he felt vibrations coming down the tunnel.

He didn't hear anything but some vibrations were starting to shake the tunnel and make some of the cave rocks at the top fall down. A rock hit his fluffy head and rolled off onto the ground.

Jax stared down at the rock as his antenna started to bob up and down before a creature drifted 40 feet down the cave at a sharp corner it moved with its mouth that looked like a dog barking and whining but its face curled up after each bark.

No sound came out but it was making one. Its face looked disgusting after each expression a odd liquid would form on the corners of its eyes before getting sucked back into the skull.

It looked like a snake that had the body of a monkey it had fur everywhere and it moved quickly as it ran on all fours and on its knuckles.

'Fuck that' Jax dashed towards the entrance of the tunnel on all six legs, his fuzzy body started fluffing itself until had looked like a giant red fluffy ball scuddling through the cave.

Jax's fur stuck to the walls and ground before shooting out sticky webbing from the ends of it that latched onto walls and pulled tightly making a spiral shape and also forming a wall of red webbing that also started to fluff up itself.

He heard the creature get snagged onto the webbing and start thrashing around and had also started to deflate from its fluffy form. The vibration that was heard earlier didn't stop at all but rather got louder and more noticeable with each step he took and every time he connected and made contact with the ground.

The sound of the soft taps of his hands gripping the top exit before he threw himself out of the cave and bounced off the ground. Jax picked up his head and stared at the wriggling portal that sat there.

Quickly picking himself up and shuffling towards the portal it started to glow as he got close. He heard a noise behind him. Which started to get uncommon

"STOP IT FROM GOING THROUGH!" the man said as a ball of fire formed in his hand before being scuffed out by the lack of oxygen. The short man made a cube of ice and threw it at Jax it hit his head and tumbled off.

Jax looked at them with a blank face as he walked into the portal. The men were shocked as the ice hit the ground and exploded.

Jax disappeared and the monsters started to flood out of the tunnel they all looked different and they looked as if they went through a randomized with the creatures they looked to be mixed with.

The ground under them exploded as a giant crustacean appeared around its claws it had hair and around its joints, it also had hair and spikes as it let out an ungodly screech that made the ears of the hunters bleed.

'Attack it!' the big man said as he dashed past them and a light formed into the shape of a sword before creating sword after a quick breath came out of the man's mouth, he slammed the sword into the crustaceans leg and the sword completely shattered

'How the hell.' a green rope made of purple light wrapped around him and he was dragged toward the mouth of the crustacean which had multiple hook-shaped teeth.

SLASH!

The short guy had slashed through the rope and it cost him his dagger as his dagger melted right after the slice and burned his skin, he let out a yelp before they both landed before the portal.

"GO THROUGH THE PORTAL HURRY!" the man on the other side of the sea of monsters was still flooding out of the cave like a river.

BURST~

BOOM~

The big guy that had scars and even more bloody cuts covering his body didn't waste a second before jumping into the portal while the monsters were starting to lock onto them.

While the shorter guy stuck there and threw an ice cube out into the monsters before it exploded making a wall of ice statues out of them. He then threw a disc that twirled above the aggressive unorthodox wiggling and fighting off all the monsters.

It made it to the other side where it was then caught by the main hunter who first came in and

Tossed under his feet and then used it as a platform.

After giving a thumbs up to the shorter hunter, the shorter hunter dived in as all the creatures started to run and trample over one another to get to his location.

The creatures were staring up at him as he used the disc to float over the sea of monsters. In only a few minutes they started climbing over one another to form a mountain shape to get ahold of him. But the higher they climbed the higher he went into the space before he jumped off the platform and dived down towards the portal.

The creatures took their attention off of him and looked at the portal that started to glow as they got close to it. One creature decided to stick its hand out and touch it.

The creature was sucked into the portal after a while all the creatures took their minds off of him before funneling into the portal by the thousands. So many started to go through that the portal started to widen itself, letting more through the portal into their world.

Soon the giant crustacean took notice and crawled into the portal into the new world where all the monsters were going.

"No NO NO! STOP YOU BASTARDS!" he yelled as he dived into the portal and it closed as it cut off the few creatures that were the last ones going Into the portal. As it closed in on itself an explosion happened.

VEOOM~

The creatures on the moon looked around in confusion before funneling back into the darkness of their cave.

A giant cut in the air of a forest about 20 feet above the trees happened before a small red fluffy creature fell out of it and into the ground.

Trees collapsed and fell over upon impact with the creature, and a large crater was left in the ground along with a thick dust cloud forming before falling to the ground.

KREEK~

SCREECH~

Jax let out an ear-piercing screech as he held the hand that he landed on when he fell from the sky. His exoskeleton was slightly cracked but it was already in the midst of healing.

"Ah why?! why me, ah it hurts so ba- wait huh. It doesn't hurt that bad." he looked at his hand as he flipped it from front to back and wiggled his fingers slightly.

His voice sounded odd it was exactly how you would expect an insect to talk it sounded cracked and clicking came with each word that came out from his mandibles.

Jax looked up at the lush green trees that moved in the wind. And for once he finally heard the sound but didn't breathe in the air. The only reason was that he physically couldn't make himself breathe.

"Finally some color."
