Chapter 9

"Where is he now? I wanna meet him" Karson smiled. "I don't know where he is" Jason shrugged as he put his phone away. "That was the last time I've seen him," He said as he handed Haru back to him. "Oh I'm sorry" Karson apologized. "It's not your fault he's gone" Jason replied as he pats his head.

There was a knock on the door before it opened. "Ok I'm sorry to intrude but I need to talk to you and you weren't-.... oh hi Karson I didn't know you'd be here sorry" Jaime's loud voice was heard. "Yeah, whatever you're already inside" Jason rolled his eyes. He shot him a glare.

"You have a kitten" Niki gasped excitedly. "Yeah, do you wanna play with him?" Karson smiled. Niki nodded way too quickly. "Okay come on" Karson pulled him away from the two. He wanted to leave them be after he heard what Jaime said. Jason turned to Jaime who smiled at him. "What do you want?" He asked.

"Right. Uhm the boss sent me to make sure you got the job done. They don't know I was already here so I'll be going to school with you too. I just wanted to let you know" Jaime said, a sigh left his mouth as he collapsed onto the couch. "Am I going to have to kill you?" Jason asked, mostly to himself. "What? Why? For what?" Jaime asked, surprised. "Well I'm not going through with the plan and now that your here will you rat me out?" He asked. "No of course not. Niki took a liking to that boy, I came here to try to change your mind about killing him. But it seems like we're on the same page" Jaime said, shocked at what Jason said. "Seems like it," Jason said, staring at him suspiciously.

"Chill out man I'm not gonna hurt your boyfriend," Jaime said, a smirk forming on his face. "He's not my boyfriend" Jason glared. A knock on the living room door was heard. "What?" Jason asked, his tone harsh. "Oh, I'm sorry. You can continue your conversation I just wanted to let you know we're gonna be late to school" Karson replied, as he looked down, embarrassed.

He turned wanting to leave quickly feeling upset. But he quickly brushed it off, thinking it was his fault for intruding. "No, I'm sorry. Jaime here just pissed me off" Jason sighed as he ran a hand through his hair. "No it's fine you don't have to apologize" Karson smiled nodding.

He disappeared behind the door quickly. "Seems like you upset your little boyfriend Jase" Jaime laughed. "Shut up and don't call me that" Jason glared at him, as he threw a pillow at him. "Why not? It's a friendship thing" Jaime whined. "No we're not friends anymore" Jason replied as he picked up his bag and left the living room. "What but Jason? It wasn't even my fault" He continued whining.

He followed him out just in time to see Jason already talking to Karson. Probably to make sure he wasn't upset at him. He smirked. "Guys we're gonna be late" Niki said as he checked his watch. "You're coming with us too" Jason sighed. "Jase stop that's mean" Karson smacked his chest. "I didn't even mean it as that" Jason huffed. "Hey why can he call you that?!" Jaime whined. "Because he's not annoying," Jason said bluntly. Jaime glared as he turned to Niki. He latched onto him pouting.

Niki laughed as he pats his shoulder. "What a cry baby" Jason laughed mockingly. Karson giggled when Jaime let out a loud whine. "Remind me how old are you again?" Niki asked, a smile on his face.

"I didn't come here to be bullied" Jaime huffed, as he exited the house. Niki followed behind him. Karson looked up at Jason "He's not mad is he?" He asked. "I don't think so" He shrugged. Karson hummed.

When they arrived to school Darciel stared at him curiously. He pulled out his phone and called someone. "Hey I'mma need you to run a background check on someone" He said, watching Karson lean onto the raven haired boy, when he laughed. "Well hello to you too, Darci" The boy on other line, answered. "Yeah yeah so will you do it?" He asked. "Yeah what's there name?" He asked. "I don't know. I. just seen the guy today" Darciel shrugged, although he couldn't see it. "Your gonna have to get close to him then" He sighed.

"Alright gimme a minute" Darciel said, as he pulled out his earbuds. "Hey Karson do you have to math homework?" He said, walking closer to them. "Uhm yeah. Why? Do you need it?" Karson asked as he pulled his back pack in front him. "Yeah. Sorry I didn't have time to do it last night" Darciel said, as he rubbed the back of his neck. He noticed the three boys watching him.

He coughed awkwardly as Karson was digging through his bag. "Stall a little longer. He has to much information" He heard Jun say, through the earbuds. "Hey uh has Aiden still been bothering you?" He whispered. "Not as much as before. Why?" He asked. "Just making sure" He shrugged. He looked around and made eye contact with the raven haired boy, who was glaring at him. "Here sorry for taking to long" Karson smiled, as he handed him the paper. "Okay. I got it. We're good" Jun smiled. "It's ok. I'mma go now. Bye" He smiled. He left and looked down at the paper. "What does it say?" He asked. "Hold on. His account has a high firewall. This gonna take some time. I'll call you back" Jun said, smiling. He finally had a challenge.

"Alright your doing all of them right?" He asked. "Of course. Who do you take me for?" Jun scoffed. "Yeah, yeah whatever. I gotta go now. Make sure to call me" He said. "I will I will. Bye" Jun replied. "Bye" Darciel smiled, before he hung up.
