The treasonist,Loren?

Ivan looked at nate they walked to the king residence,"Where are you going,your highness?".

Nate turned with a delighted face,"To see his majesty, of course, loren will be released tonight".

Ivan looked at nate concerningly,"  You should see her first".

Nate paused,"who?".

"The crown princess.She fainted and the physician was summoned .After that a maid reported to me,that's how I found out about the pregnancy.

Even if you don't love her, She's the mother of your child,show concerns" ivan said.

Loren was released the next day and his parents carried him home as he was unable to walk well from being tied to the stake for more than a month.

His whole body ached him so his mother massaged his body after he took his bath.And after that he slept off.

Later that evening,they ate as a family again .While they ate,they heard a knock on the door.

Viski went to open the door and He saw ivan,who said he needed to speak with loren.

Loren came out and ivan looked at him with pity,"You both suffered",he said in his mind.

"How is nate?",Loren asked as he looked at ivan, anticipating for an answer.

Ivan looked at him,"Even when you're in this state,you still ask about him",he said in his mind.

He exhaled,"He will be a father,soon".

Loren smiled sadly,"That's great.Am happy for him.

He will make a great father.Good health granted to the child".

Ivan could see the sadness in his eyes even though he smiled,so he looked away,"I overhead a decree will be brought to your residence.It says that you are to go back to the north base camp of the chamber white tigers and never return to the capital.It also said that your family are not allowed to come with you and you will be escorted by some constables.

"This night?, immediately?".Loren smiled faintly,"It's the king's decree so I'll obey it when it comes".

"The person will come soon,I have to go.Take care of yourself,loren sorock",Ivan waved as he left the residence.

"Take care,ivan"he waved and closed the door as he held his tears.

He joined his family and continue to it silently,holding back his tears with a smile.

LOREN POV

That same day at night,the decree came.

I waved at my family happily as i entered his carriage even though i was sad and weary.

I cried bitterly in silence while I was in the carriage and fell asleep.

When I woke up,he found out that the carriage had stopped. I looked out from the window and I didn't see the constables  and the carriage was on a something is wrong

I carried his sword and unsheathed it  as I came out of the carriage.

"Show yourself!",I yelled.

More than 50  men in black appeared,revealing only their eyes and Their swords were unsheathed.

I chuckled weakly as i looked at them,"I can't defeat you all.I don't have Supernatural powers and besides I am very weak.I haven't rested well for more than a month.

I sheathed my sword and clutched the ring on his chest underneath u good clothes and spoke calmly.

"The king ordered this,didn't he?.What wrong have a common man like me done to go through all this?.I am sure you all know who I am.

I didn't come from a noble family.I left to a place called unknown and trained very hard so I'll get a better result.What wrong have i done?.

"No need to  dirty your hands with my blood",i said as he walked to the edge of the cliff.

I looked at them and gazed at the night sky as I opened my arms and smiled.The people on black didn't say anything.

I walked back till I fell from the cliff,looking at the beautiful night sky.

Months passed.The first snow fell.

In front of the crown prince residence,nate stretched his hand with a smile and opened it as the snow fell on his hands.

"He proposed to me ,during the first snow last year.I .....want to go back to that time"

"Your highness",ivan called and nate turned to him,"still no news of loren?",looking worried.

Ivan shook his head and nate disappeared.

"I need to go back inside,"Nate said as he walked  back inside his residence.

A month later

IN THE PALACE

"This are all reports",the king shoved them away from his table with anger.

"They said loren was the one leading the enemy kingdom and escaped after he saw that he was losing".

The king slammed the table,"I knew this will happen!".

"Your majesty,I suggest you investigate this matter properly, please,loren will never do such",Nate pleaded.

"We all know the punishment for treason",the king said.

Nate eyes widened in fear as he went on his knees,Your majesty,I beg of you!,allow me to investigate this matter!,loren has been slandered,he is very loyal to our kingdom!",he pleaded.

The king wrote the decree as he spoke,"All members of General loren sorock family,including the 8th prince  concubine will be beheaded today!".

"Your majesty,the 7th prince is right,we need to investigate this matter",a minister said.

"Please withdraw your decree,your majesty",the ministers chorused

"Are you also a treasonist?!,do you want to be beheaded too?!.Court dismissed!",The king yelled in anger.

Prince jers fell on his knees,"Father,please spare concubine kalista,she is with child,I beg of you",he bowed many times to the ground but the king did not bat an eye,he was heartless.

"Your majesty,this is not right!,it should be investigated first!,your majesty,loren is innocent,please withdraw your decree",nate pleaded as he bowed to the ground continuously.

The king grunted as he stood up from his throne and walked out of the palace court while prince nate and prince jers begged while they helped his legs.

"Imperial guards drag the princes away!",he commanded.

As they were all beheaded,prince nate and prince jers were confined in their residence.

Prince jers slit his throat in his bedchamber and consort white lotus fainted upon hearing what happened.

There was a riot for justice for loren's family.Some came from other provinces.

The king got angry day by day and his madness started again.

He ordered for all the rioters to be killed.More than 3000 died  and more than 700 was injured while the rest escaped.The constables didn't hesitate to kill,not even if it was a little child.

The capital that was the most beautiful place in the kingdom became a dreadful place.
