The old physician

Loren was on the bed unconscious.

"His nose isn't as pretty as my papa",kresna said as she played with loren's nose and chuckled.

"Let him be",prince keystone said as he entered the room.

"Uncle keystone,am hungry",princess kresna whined.

The old physician entered the chamber,"is he awake yet?".

"Is been six months,him and this man on the bed and my papa hasn't woken up",princess kresna said as she sat on the edge of the bed and rested her chin on her palm.

She got down from the bed,"am going to my papa's chamber",she left the chamber.

The physician walked out from the room and prince keystone was behind me,when suddenly.

"Your highness?".

He turned and saw loren awake,"just in time,I was going to get breakfast,I'll be back",he said as he left.

Loren stood up,he didn't feel any pain and his wounds were healed.He came out of the chamber but he couldn't walk well at first, probably because he has been bedridden for six months.

He looked around,he was in a house.

The old physician entered inside,"oh,you wake".

"Where are the two people who were with me,a man wrapped in a bed garment and a little girl",he asked without hesitation.

"You don't care to ask who I am or who treated you,young man",the old physician said as he walked towards loren.

His body stiffened as he looked at the old physician,"please forgive me,they are the first thing that came to my mind when I woke up".

"Follow me the the chamber beside yours",he said as he walked opened the door of the next chamber.

Nate was lying on the bed.He was also okay.He didn't look like a corpse,he didn't have blue lips and he wasn't pale.

Princess kresna who was sitting on the edge of nate's bed stood up when she saw loren and gasped.

Then she sat back on the bed like she didn't do anything.

"When I found you with him,he was almost dead,His breathing was slow.If you left him in the palace,he could have been dead by now",the physician said.

"How did you do it,he looks very fine",loren asked curiously.Seeing nate alive was a like a dream to him.

"Your highness,princess kresna",loren bowed.

She stood up again and wanted to say something but she didn't.she looked embarrassed.

"I'll be outside",she said as she walked out from the chamber.

"Her head is okay,is it not?",loren said as he glanced at the physician.

The old physician nodded.

Loren walked to nate's bed  and sat on the edge of the bed.

He caressed his face gently as he stared at him,"if I pull him up a little will it affect him?".

"Not at all",the old physician said.

Loren pulled him up from the bed a little and hugged him,"am so happy,that you're alive.....,buy please  wake",he whispered to nate's ear and laid him back gently on the bed.

Loren rested his head on nate's chest,"his heart is beating fine".

"I removed the poison,and I gave him an elixir of motal life",the physician said and loren raises his head to look at him.

Loren couldn't believe his ears.The fact that the poison was cured because it had no antidote and the elixir of mortal life.

"Elixir of mortal life?,people have been searching for that thing,who are you",loren asked curiously as he held nate's hand.

"A half heavenly immortal and a half demon.My father is an immortal from the medicinal value while my mother is the demon lord of poison valley".

Loren was puzzled while the old physician spoke.

"You might not know me or my parents but you know the medicinal and poison valley".Or should I say,you knew,because it's.....,forget what I said,no need to confuse you".

"Am grateful for treating me and the three royals.I can't believe your story but am extremely grateful",loren said.

"But removing the poison and giving him the elixir of life isn't what will make him wake up.He took the death pill so if I removed the poison and give him the elixir of life,he will just fall into a very deep slumber for who knows how many years until he is stabbed in his heart or beheaded.

"Then what did will,isn't something you can not do?",loren asked.

"I have already done it,so he will wake up soon",the physician said.

Loren exhaled,"Am grateful".

"Don't you care to know what I did?",the old physician asked,anticipating loren's answer.

"If he is going to wake up because of what you did,I don't _____".

"I gave him,half of remaining life",the old physician cut him off.

Loren furrowed his eyebrows,trying to understand the old physician"Half of my remaining life?".

"Yes,I found you together so I saw that  the both of your life lines will accept each other,so I transferred half of your remaining life to him,under that tree and brought the three of you here with his highness,prince keystone".

Loren was puzzled so he was silent,still trying to believe him.

"You don't believe me,don't you?",he walked to nate's bed and held nate's hand as he placed his index and middle finger on nate's wrist,"I can give it back to you and you can watch".

Black lines flowed out from nate's body into the old physician palm causing nate's to be uneasy.He was like he was being strangled and loren panicked.

"Please stop!",loren yelled."I believe you,return it back,please",he pleaded.

The old physician returned it back to his body and nate relaxed.

Loren rested his head on nate's chest to feel his heartbeat.He closed his eyes while he  heaved a sigh of relief as he felt his heart beat well.

It was night.loren sat on a chair beside nate's bed and princess kresna laid beside prince nate.

She refused to sleep in the other chamber.

The house was far from any house and anybody,it was far from the town but they were in the south province.It was in a shore.

Prince keystone or should I say,the god of reincarnation stood in front of the house while the rest slept.

The night wind blew his linen robe and his black hair while he held his white folding hand fan,staring into space.

A white fan swinged violently towards him.But he unfolded his fan and swinged it towards the violent fan to make a counter attack.Then he retrieved his fan.

Prince keystone adjusted his clothes,"we haven't seen each other in a long time,don't you miss me,big sister?",he smiled.

The God of fate,his sister appeared. Her hair was white and long,adorned with silver hair jeweleries.Her garments was also white but different from what the mortal wear.

From how she looked,you could tell she wasn't a mortal.

"How dare you!",she yelled.

Prince keystone smiled,"I miss your fierce side".

"Not only did you get involve with a demon____".

"Half demon",prince keystone cuts in.

"You mortal body died and you did not return to the heavenly realm,and you also changed the fate of the first God of night,do you really think I can't make him to die now!?",she was furious.

"Be calm,sister, we're away from home.And I only changed a little,is not like I found a way for him to return to the heavenly realm",prince keystone said as he walked to the God of fate.

She chuckled and walked around prince keystone,"years ago,you began to practice the power of a demon and lost your primordial spirit in the process.Your primordial spirit has all your emotions and most of your power.Now you are weak and emotionless".

"He appeared years ago as a seven years old old called dibengi and now he is the same age as the mortal body of God of day and God of night.You are aware of this,aren't you?".

"I can get it back and help the God of day and God of night throughout their remaining reincarnations"prince keystone reassured.

She looked at him straight in his eyes,"how did you feel when you said that?".

Prince keystone hesitated,"nothing,am just doing what  is right".

She turned her back to him,"exactly....,nothing..,no guilt,no feeling at all.you just think you're doing what is right.You are just confused".

"The only person that knew how to enter the illusion of the God of day was you,because he told you how to.hevwwa your friend".

"I know.....,I remember", prince keystone stammered.

She peeked through her shoulder to look at him,"Do you also remember how you exposed the God of day and the God of night to the king of the heavenly realm?".

Prince keystone was silent.

"Have you lost your voice,my dear brother?",she asked prince keystone.

"I remember",prince keystone answered.

She raised an eyebrow,"now you don't  fell anything,can you tell me why you reported them?".

"I hated the first God of night.I hated the way the God of day looked at him.When I reported the the king of heavenly realm,I made clear to the king that it was the God of night's fault that he alone should be punished.I never thought that he will also give God of day the same punishment as the God of night.A thousand reincarnation of suffering".

The God of fate sighed,"Your primordial spirit has become a separate being and he is becoming a demon slowly, unconsciously.

I don't even know if it's a good thing by getting your primordial spirit.But if you eventually get it,which I know,it may be hard.You will have to be devoured and a new God of reincarnation will be born",she disappeared.
