Loren's position as the general

IN THE PALACE COURT

Loren and his friends were told to attend the court meeting that day.

Vitskit was given the position of the third liutenant of the white tigers. Non was given the position of second lieutenant.

"Dibengi nigromeshisahius",the regent king, prince keystone called aloud.

He came forward, knelt and bowed to the ground, "your majesty".

"Dibengi, assisted loren sorock in subduing the enemies, you shall be given the position of second in command".

"Your majesty is gracious, long live his majesty",he said and the ministers repeated it, then he stood up and went back to his position.

"Loren sorock",the regent king called aloud.

Loren came forward, knelt and bowed to the ground, "your majesty".

"Loren sorock, acted as a lieutenant in the recent war, witnessed from the other warriors and the commander if the kingdom, he is a capable person, he shall be given the position of the general of the white tigers".

Loren raised his head as he couldn't believe his ears, "your majesty is gracious, long live his majesty!",he yelled.

Prince keystone continued, "I hope you won't disappoint me, this is the first time our kingdom is having a general of the white tigers, a land will be given to you in the five provinces.

a mansion will be built and you are allowed to raise your armies for the good of the kingdom and not for treason".

Loren bowed his head to the ground continuously," your majesty is gracious",he repeated before prince keystone told him to stand.

Apart from that,non and vitskit salary increased to 200 pieces of silver and were awarded additional 20 pieces of gold.dibengi salary increased to 400 pieces of silver and was awarded additional 20 pieces of gold .Loren's salary increased to 1000 pieces of silver and was awarded additional 50 pieces of gold.

Non,vitskit and dibengi was also given a land in each province.

After the meeting,loren waited for nate to come out and the others decided to wait with with him,not knowing what or who he was waiting for.

Other ministers were already entering their carriages to go home.

LOREN POV

"So,who are we waiting for?",non asked looking tired.

"Am the one waiting for someone".

Dibengi rested his arm on my shoulder,"Let's go out today,the four of us,then we can think of how to get our golds,silvers and land deeds".

" Are you waiting for the 7th prince",vitskit asked with a wink,I didn't understand that wink at all.

Viskit continued,we are going to his residence with you,and he's joining us today".

Dibengi removed his arm from my shoulder,and his demeanor change," you're waiting for prince nate?".

I wanted to answer him,but I looked and saw nate looking forward as he walked down the stairs outside the palace court gracefully.

He turned his gaze to me and smiled a little.

That's the person,the person that my heart beats for,I smiled in my heart.

He walked towards me and I waited patiently.

"Your highness",vitskit,non and dibengi bowed.

He greeted them back by their positions.

"What's that scent?",viskit sniffed the air as he sniffed nate.

I was embarrassed,I wanted to kick him.

"It's peony",nate answered humbly with a delight.

I wanted to pull him closer to me and hug him,but it's not something I can do outside, especially in the palace.

love is love,yes,but not all love is acceptable,some causes death .Then sometimes I wonder,if the type of relationship like the one me and nate share will one day be accepted publicly.

IN NATE RESIDENCE

We sat at the backyard, across the table.

I and nate were opposite each other and I couldn't help but stare at him,it was like I was falling in love with him over and over again.

I lowered my gaze to his lips and bit my lower lip as I remembered what happened,when I came back and i wanted to taste those tender and soft lips again.

Vitskit slammed the table and stood up,demonstrating with his hands,which brought me back to reality ,"look,I have it all planned,first we will have a horseback riding competition,the loser will pay for our expenses for the day,is it a deal?" .

" A deal",we all answered.

Vitskit continued," after that,we will bath in the lake,then we will ride to everywhere in the capital,then we will eat roasted chicken and then we'll go to the theatre and watch the play of the love between the god of the night and the god of day".

He cleared his throat," I have booked  the seats at the gallery,so the loser should please remember to pay me back".

He looked at non and grinned," brother non,this will help you cry more,since the woman you engaged, got married and had already bore two wards".Vitskit laughed.

Nate saw his incomplete tooth and laughed silently as he tried to hold his laughter.

He finally calmed down and looked at non," be weary no more, she's not the one for you, the right person will find you or rather you'll find each other",his eyes met mine and he smiled a little and looked away.

Vitskit clapped his hand cheerfully," your highness!, Could it be that you're in love?.

Nate face reddened as he smiled sheepishly, as his eyes were unsettled, trying not to look at me.

Watching his face reddened made me smile smile in my heart because I knew I was the one in his heart.

"Papa!",a girl yelled and ran to nate.

From her dressing,she was a royal and I tried to remember who she is.she looked 8 years of age,her blonde hair was not as bright as nate's, her's was darker.she wore male clothes and had a scabbard with her.

"You... have .. a daughter?",vitskit stuttered as he was puzzled.

" I am the 7th prince wife!",she said aloud as she looked stern while folding get arms.

Nate chuckled and covered his face in embarrassment.

Vitskit was in utter shock," your .. highness,is this your__".

" Is not what you think",nate retorted." This is princess kresna,the first grandchild of his majesty,the king".

We bowed," your highness".

" So who are you",she asked like she was the owner of the residence.

I introduced myself,am loren sorock,your highness".

"I don't like you",she blurted.

Prince nate held her hands as he sat down and looked at her,"is my young commander,done with her practice for today?".

"Yes",she answered cheerfully.

"Good,ivan will take you back to your residence,so you can eat and have your bath, remember not to take your bath immediately",nate said with a smile.

She frowned,and shook her head,"noooo,I don't want to".

She was about to break in tears when nate whispered something to her ear.

She looked at him,nodded and left.

It wasn't hidden that nate was like a  father figure to her,when I remember her parents died before she could even say her name,breaks my heart.If nate wasn't her uncle,I wondered who else,she could have looked at as a father like figure.

"She has grown",I said to nate.

"With stubbornness",he chuckled.

"Should we go out now",vitskit asked enthusiastically.

"Let me remove my official wear",he said as he went inside his residence.

They had the horse back competition and nate room last.They rode to different places in the capital and loren showed nate,the sorock family residence that was renovated by the late crown prince.

Nate was shocked because he thought prince kylis only rewarded his family with 100 pieces of silver.

They took their bath in the lake but nate didn't,instead he stood far away.

Then they went to eat the roasted chicken and finally it was evening.

they went to the theatre to watch the play love between the god of night and god of day.

They sat at the gallery as they watched the play.
