Dibengi's dream about the three gods

It was one week to the wedding, kalista was in the palace, learning to be a concubine of a prince.

Dibengi walked with his scabbard at his corse belt along the road where the night market took place.

Wards played along the road as people advertised their goods to the people passing.

When Loren saw dibengi,he thrusted his sword towards dibengi from behind him but dibengi turned and blocked it.

Loren grinned as he kept on thrusting his sword at dibengi but dibengi parried everyone.

People stopped walking and watched them.

"I can't believe it was the stubborn little boy, that was tied and carried on his father shoulders so he won't run away",a butcher said.

"How time flies, he's now a man",a granny said.

"You still got it, dibengi",loren said as he panted and placed his sword on his shoulder.

While dibengi sheathed his sword, "it's been a long time, general, I thought I was forgotten".

Loren sheathed his sword, walked to dibengi and put his arm around his shoulders, "brothers never forget each other, come on!, there's a place called heavenly dwelling, they sell the best liquors, let's get drunk, brother".

Dibengi removed lorens arm from his shoulder and kept walking, "what?, You don't need to go to the 7th prince residence?".

Loren walked forward to dibengi side and put his arm around his shoulder again, "don't be like this.can't I even drink with my brother?, No one is coming with us, it will just be you and I, so what do you say, huh?".

Dibengi glanced at him as they walked, "only because, am thirsty"

"Hey!, It's really the best how come I didn't know about it!? ",Dibengi said enthusiastically.

" We were very poor",loren said.

" Loren, let's drink till we're drunk, cheers! ".

They clanged their cups as they drank happily.

They came out if the brothel, drunk as they sang while their arms were on each other shoulders.

         "Merry men,oh merry men,

           drink and be merry.

           Real men are drinkers,

           but drunkard are fools.

          So let's be fools for a night".

They were back in the sorock's family residence.Dibengi laid loren on his bed as he was more sober than loren.

Dibengi sat on the edge in the bed with loren half awake.

Loren",he called

"Yeaaa...",loren answered,half awake.

"Are you hearing me?".

"Mhmmm",loren answered.

"They say people are truthful when they are drunk or half asleep,so I have a question to ask and I hope you will answer",dibengi said as he glanced at loren.

"Ask",loren answered.

"Who is nate to you?"dibengi asked as he stared at loren on the bed.

Loren opened his eyes a little," mine.....,my friend",he closed his eyes back.

" Loren,is nate, really just your friend?", dibengi asked with concern.

" Mhmm",loren answered and dibengi smiled.

" So you're not in love with him?"dibengi asked anticipatingly.

Loren nodded and dibengi smiled more brightly and exhaled,"That's good,I was overthinking",dibengi chuckled," but you should distance yourself from prince nate, I don't like it".

" When we were at his residence weeks ago,I saw you staring so deeply at him,lovingly.

I felt like I was crushed,I felt suffocated,I thought you were in love with him and also felt a growing distance between us gradually but however am glad that I was just overthinking".

Dibengi continued," when we were in the north province,months ago,I had a dream,but I don't know if it  was, because it felt real" .

" We were in a place,the buildings were made of silver and gold,the river was the purest,I have ever seen.

The waters tasted heavenly,the flowers were the most beautiful of all,they were shining lights,and they could move on their own".

They were beautiful ladies,I heard them call them immortal fairies".

I saw you,but you looked different,your black hair was extremely long,your apparel was extraordinary,they called you,god of the day.

We were close, but strangely,I didn't look like myself,i looked like prince keystone and they called me,god of recearnation.

We didn't have wings but we could fly.

I saw us as we laughed and enjoy this strange place that looked like fantasy.There was a person you admired,he was born before me,they called him,the god of night".

His blonde  hair was of gold and was extremely long,his eyes were made of silver .he had the most exquisite white apparel I have ever seen,this person was  called the god of night and was described as the pure river.

When we came back to the palace,I saw someone that looked like him,I couldn't believe me eyes,the difference was the long gold hair and the silver eyes. I thought he was not real,but he spoke.

Prince  keystone called him the 7th prince which I knew he was prince nate."

I had unprovoked hatred for him immediately and that hatred is extremely deep".

Trust me,you don't know how dangerous the hatred is.And  when I saw you stare at him so lovingly,I was reminded of that dream".

But am confused,why do I have this feeling?.

am also confused of why the story of the love between the god of the night and day was just like my dream,but I didn't see the ending in my dream.

The book didn't have an author, so I couldn't search for him.

Everything is truly confusing,for me".

  Dibengi turned back and found out that loren was already asleep.

" Loren",he called but there was no response.

He covered him with a blanket," goodnight",he said as he left the room and closed the door.

The next morning,loren recalled last night.

"Mine...friends",he remembered when he said that," sorry I can't tell you what nate really means to me",he said in his mind

" I hate it",loren remembered the three words and was confused,because he didn't remember the remaining words,dibengi said as he slept off .

He asked dibengi when he came into the chamber and he replied"I didn't say anything after laying you down on your bed".

And loren knew he lied.
