Chapter 3: Gabriel Heart 2

As the class continued, the teacher's voice echoed through the room, calling out the next student's name.

"Next, Gabriel Heart," Mr. Hanz announced. Gabriel felt a rush of nervous energy as he heard his name.

He quickly gathered his things and made his way to the front of the room, where the podium was waiting for him.

With a curious expression, Gabriel looked up at his teacher, who met his gaze and nodded, indicating that it was his turn to perform the ritual. Gabriel took a deep breath and stepped up to the podium, placing his hands on the smooth surface of the crystal ball. He could feel its cool energy pulsing beneath his fingertips as he began the incantation, drawing upon his own inner power to complete the ritual.

As Gabriel gazed into the crystal ball, he felt a surge of energy coursing through his body. The Mana Orb was scanning him, analyzing his mana capacity and determining his potential. If his mana was sufficient, he would be granted two initial skills and one talent, according to his individual factors.

Gabriel held his breath as the crystal ball shone brightly, illuminating the entire room. He felt a rush of excitement and anticipation, wondering what his destiny held in store for him. The Mana Orb had spoken, and Gabriel was ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and adventure.

As the students below the stage are conversing, the topic of discussion is centered on Gabriel's future class. Gabriel, who is known to be one of the top students in the classroom, is yet to awaken his class. Although his academic performance is impressive, there are still several factors that need to be considered before he can be classified as one of the best.

One of his classmates chimes in, reminding the group that awakening is a random process, and there is no precise way to predict the outcome. He cites the example of Tigram, who was once considered one of the bottom-line students in the class but ended up being gifted with a strong class after awakening.

Another classmate highlights Gabriel's theoretical knowledge, stating that it might help him get a strong class. After all, Gabriel has consistently ranked first in their class every year. However, another student intervenes, pointing out that theoretical knowledge cannot guarantee a strong class. If Gabriel awakens a support class, he will be at a disadvantage because most of the skills associated with a support class are not combat-focused. He will need to have a team to party up and level up, unlike combat-focused classes that can take on low-level monsters right away and gradually level up.

The discussion also focuses on the two initial skills acquired upon awakening, which are critical in determining the future career path. The class given is related to the person's awakened talent. Although skill books are available to learn various skills, they are costly and rare. Therefore, the class one awakens is crucial, and it can determine the trajectory of one's life in this competitive world.

As the group discussed what class Gabriel would awaken, he could feel a strange sensation coursing through his body from the Mana Orb. Suddenly, the orb began to glow with a golden light that enveloped him, causing him to feel as though he was floating in the sky, his body full of energy. This feeling lasted for several minutes, and as it faded, all eyes were on him.

However, unbeknownst to everyone else, inside the Mana Orb, there were three different colors of light illuminating - purple, silver, and green. In a flash, the purple light blurred and was replaced by a brilliant blue light. This change happened so quickly that no one noticed it.

Mr. Hanz, the instructor, waved his hand, and with his ability, he caused the Mana Orb to float in his hand. He then turned his attention back to Gabriel and announced to the entire group that he had successfully awakened.

"Gabriel Heart, Successful Awakening..."

As the teacher was about to make an important announcement to the class, he paused for a moment and directed his gaze towards Gabriel Heart.

Gabriel acknowledged the teacher's gaze with a nod of his head. The teacher then announced the news to the class, but instead of the expected excitement and chatter, the room was filled with an eerie silence.

"Support type, Healer"

The news was that Gabriel had awakened to a Support Class, with a specialization in Healing Type. This unexpected revelation had left the class in shock and disbelief, as Gabriel had always been a top-performing student with incredible potential for success.
