Chapter 01.2
"Are you sure you want to date someone who's eating leftovers and who's wearing hand-me-down robes?" His voice echoed through the coldness all the way through my ears, head, and full body.
Some part of me knew back then that this voice will be dangerous. Today I believe that this is why I got goosebumps. Why I started to hold my breath the moment I turned around and saw him for the first time.
His white hair matches the beautiful cold snow. His fair skin bewitched me fully the moment I first saw it. A sudden warmth captivated my body and the smirk he had on his face - that fucking smirk - made it impossible for me to say anything, to react, or even to think clearly.
Even today I remember exactly what he was wearing. The dark trench coat that was too big for his small figure, his matching black gloves and obviously that ridiculous hat that his mother made him wear. That ridiculous hat. I'd do anything to see that again.
"Is there something on my face or why are you starring at me like that?"
Speechless. His angelic appearance made me become speechless. I just stood there paralysed starring into his magnificent grey eyes getting lost in its depths. Never would I have thought though that this twelve year old little cheeky mean boy would become that one thing I couldn't live without.
"What is your name?" His eyes drill themselves into mine not losing contact even for a second. "Let me introduce myself then."
He steps closer.
My heart is beating faster and faster? What is this feeling? Why am I feeling so nauseous and so light? Why can't I tell him to apologise to Ron and why can't I even move?
Only a few inches separate us. "Malfoy. My name is Draco Malfoy."
That name. That damned name. Little did that tiny, innocent, old version of me knew back then - back then at that one snowy cold winter day - that one day I'll be screaming this name, crying for it, cursing it; Longing for hearing it again.
