Third Person's Point of View
THERE was a full minute of silence until they entered their house. She can’t believe Gavin kissed her.
She went upstairs and was about to go inside her room but Gavin grabbed her hand and pushed her against the wall. She tried to escape but he even held her tighter. A trembling began inside Ayana.
“Are you out of your mind, Ayana?” He closed their gap. “How could you set a dinner date with that fucking asshole?!” He blows out a deep sigh, a glimmer of condescension flickered in his eyes. “What’s your relationship with him?”
She stared back at his eyes. Emotion tightened her chest.
She didn’t answer her question but instead, she said, “What’s your relationship with Sophia?” Her tears were rolling faster down her face. “Since when did you become close with her?”
Gavin startled by what she asked. Slowly, he let her go. Ayana ignored the twinge of jealousy.
