PRETENTIOUS

Leona was happily walking toward the treadmill when she saw her stepmother who seemed to be deep in thought. When she noticed it would lose balance on the treadmill, she immediately turned it off and held Amelia by the arm.

"What are you thinking about? Your wedding's coming up. Maybe I should've just let you fall on your face and break your nose. Then you'd call off the wedding." She said sarcastically to Amelia. She sighed lazily.

"What a shame. I've missed the opportunity," she added and open the treadmill beside her.

She woke up early that morning and she felt like her day was complete immediately after remembering what happened yesterday. She felt very light-hearted, so she decided to go to the gym today. She didn't know if it was because of Adan or what.

Leona started running at a slow pace on the treadmill while still watching Amelia who remained silent.
