CANCEL IT

Amelia stared blankly at her food that same morning. She could barely swallow or even chew her food because she had no appetite. That if it was possible for her not to go to the office, she would do it. She felt her headache because of the amount she drank last night.

"Ma'am."

She looked up at the maid who suddenly appeared in the dining area looking troubled. She raised her eyebrows at the maid.

"We're in trouble," she said so she focused more on the maid. "I opened the door to take Lance to daycare. Your brother came barging in."

"Who?" Amelia hissed.

Before the maid could answer, Aaron, her brother, appeared in the dining area and immediately focused on her.

"Hi, Amelia!" He greeted her.

She quickly shot it with a sharp look. She was too stunned to even speak so she just looked at him until he sat directly across from her.
