A WIFE

For a few moments Hector seemed amazed at what he had learned before he took Amari from me. I turned my gaze to the two of them. They were currently sitting, Amari was in front of Hector and they both seemed to be reading something. My smile faded when I saw Ayanna approaching Hector. The woman seemed to say something to him that he just nodded and turned his attention back to our daughter.

Before I was completely bored, I remembered what I should do before my son arrived. I turned my gaze to Emerald who was quietly watching.

"Em," I called her to which she immediately responded.

"Why, Ma'am Ana?"

"I'll just go somewhere. Stay here, no matter what happens, don't you and Amari ever go out, okay? Keep an eye on your Sir Apollo, especially that Ayanna," I instructed her as I prepared my bag .
