Pardoned

The reporter bows his head not knowing how to refute her. Someone just called him a few minutes ago and told him to ask the question. He agreed since the person was paying.

Besides he did not have enough time to verify the information and prepare before the conference started. When Emily saw that the reporter was no longer making things difficult, she was relieved. Then she continued explaining. She did not dare leave things halfway and give ABM the chance to pull her down.

They wanted to meet the person behind the Stem and to show my sincerity towards this partnership I returned hoping to sign all necessary documents as all negotiations and contracts have been drafted by my vice, but they suddenly conceal the partnership without giving me any reasons."

I am so surprised that the news is already everywhere on the internet," Emily said still smiling. Of course, she was the one that published the news but by saying she is surprised it suggests that since the formality has not been done, she would not dare release the news.

The press conference went on with more discussion about their new product. A lot of people anticipated the signing of the collaboration with the Sky group.

This totally saved the company from any further accusations. A lot of people commenting online supporting her move.

"ABM is so arrogant how could they cancel without giving any reason. Is that not as good as bullying the weak." someone posted online.

"They want to stay on top, and they refuse to welcome any fresh blood," another supported.

A lot of people began to support the above claims and lashing at ABM for being too unkind. This will not affect ABM much but it definitely bought Stem a lot of supporters and fans, who now swear to use only their products. Stem products may not have high recognition like ABM but the support of many citizens was a good sign for a small company.

Emily stepped down the stage after the conference and walked into her office. She knew this was only the beginning. ABM will definitely create trouble for them, but For the time being she needed to keep the real details of the project a secret.

She knew they will definitely try to employ her staff and probably put spies in her company. So she needed to be very cautious and careful. In Emily's heart only she and Judy are members of Stem.

Eric was furious seeing this out came online. He did ask them to cancel the collaboration but those fools were supposed to come up with a reasonable excuse. "How incompetent," he said asking his secretary to invite them into his office.

He knew that Emily would not dare say such words if she was giving any explanation. Even if he knew this fact, he still hoped that they have given her a meaningful excuse, at least he can use that to salvage the situation.

Eric frown his brows, he knew something was not right, but he could not place his finger on it. "If you have not interrupted her in the middle of her presentation rudely, I guess we would not have this problem" Eric heard his assistant voice.

"What do you mean Grey?" Eric asked, his voice was still cold and Everyone in the room broke into a cold sweat. The murderous aura was clearly seen. And they knew that someone was going to be in lots of trouble. They even held their breath afraid to breathe too loud and irritate him more.

Grey took a deep breath and explained what happened to Eric. Grey watched the whole process of the meeting as instructed by Eric. When he had heard Emily's words he has gone back to watch the recording of the presentation hoping to be able to salvage the situation from there, at last, he realized that it was best not to bring up what happened in the office to the public.

"You created this problem, so I will give you 48 hours to come up with a solution," Eric said. Looking at the three managers sitting in front of him. He did not feel it was right to just fire them and let others go through the trouble of fixing it.

When the three managers heard this, they all got up to their feet and flee the rooms like criminals that got pardoned.
