Love rival

Emily was surprised to hear the knock, she got up from the table to answer it. When she opened the door she was surprised to meet Samuel standing outside. 

"Why are you here?" Emily was surprised. She acted like a wife who was caught by her husband cheating. Samuel noticed that there was something unnatural about her response.. "I thought to eat breakfast with you. Since you would be busy this is not too much to ask right?" Samuel asked.

Emily swallowed. It took her a while to remember that she did not have anything going on with the two of them, so it was not a problem if she let him in, so she stepped outside for him to come in. 

Samuel was very pleased when he saw this. Eric was angry. He had planned to have a peaceful breakfast with her, he did not expect Emily to allow Samuel in.. The two had dinner together what was the point of coming over the next morning to have breakfast.
