Upon seeing the fascination in Julian's eyes, Isla smiled and her heart relaxed that the five-year-old was very welcoming to Damien. Children could feel insecure when no one pays attention to them and that's what she feared for Julian. He could hate Damien for taking his grandmother's attention and that hate can grow to something else in the future, which she does not want for both children.
Also, Julian reminded her of Damien in her second life. Because the male lead, Damian took everything away from him, the hate accumulated from childhood and destroyed him even though it was not his fault for becoming that way.
