Upon realizing that, Isla forced her hand out of Dante's firm grip. Something that she struggled to do before was easily accomplished, but she had no time to worry about whether Dante had decided to let her go or not. Her father was here in the village. That was more important than her ex-husband.

''Father..'' Isla hurried in his direction, crying out like a little girl. Even if she tried to control it, tears still found their way to roll down her cheeks. Her father, who she had little time to spend with, was finally here.

''Isla…Oh.'' Her hug stopped the word of concern that was about to spill from his mouth. Finn was not fully prepared for her sudden hug, but he still managed to balance himself while holding Damien in his arms. The trembles of her shoulders and her sobs were loud for him to hear.
