Alex left the building with so much joy, she felt extremely happy that her brother's hospital has been paid and he'd be getting proper treatment and discharged as soon as possible.

She took a moment and thought to herself. "I have little time left,I need to make good memories with Abby"

She thought about different things she could do with her best friend, different gifts and items ideas she could give to her.

She didn't want to leave without creating good memories with her best friend,after all,she didn't know how her new life would be so she needs memories she can hold onto in case things don't go well for her.

She got to the hospital and found out her brother had been transferred to the VIP room. She was surprised of course because she knew whose hand work it was.

"Wow,you did have your way after all," Dan said, welcoming her with a smile.

"Of course I always do and I will do anything and everything for you little one" she replied to him with so much excitement in her voice.

Even Dan could tell she was happy,he watched her sister who was singing beautifully with a smile on his face.

He couldn't help but cry.

"Why are you crying? You should be happy "

"You've sacrificed so much for me,sometimes I don't even deserves this goodness because I've been nothing but trouble to you"

"I will do everything and anything Dan,just stay alive for me,don't leave me alone in this world"

Those words made Dan tense a little, he moved closer and hugged her sister.

Alex went back home that night to tell her best friend about everything that happened.

She opened the door singing beautifully, swaying her tiny waist,and she danced to her own music.

"Someone's excited," her best friend said in an extremely happy tone.

"Of course,Dan will be discharged soon"

"Omg!!! No way…."

"Yes girl"

"Wow ... .so?? Tell me about it!How did it go?"

"We have outings to plan,I'm not moving out without having good memories with you"

"WHATTT!!!!,you're moving out?!"

"Uhm…Dan and I will be moving in with Andrew,you know?"

"Oh" Abigail replied with a sad face.

"Hey don't do that,I will visit you from time to time"

"I know but it's never going to be like having you here 24/7,I can't believe this is finally happening "

"That's why we have outings to plan,the last few weeks of our lives has been a mess and chaotic,we need good memories and fun time together "

"I agree with you"

They both agreed and wrote out a list of the things they wanted to do before the weekend.

"Goodnight "

"Night"

They went to bed early that night because the next day was about to be stressful and fun for them.

"Wake up and get ready loser" Alex said, dragging Abigail's leg in her sleep.

"Who the fuck goes to the beach on a Tuesday "

"We..I don't care"

"Alright then let's do this!"

"Yayyyy! Let's do this!" Alex shouted in an extremely loud voice,she was sure her neighbours might have cursed her out a little for making so much noise that morning but she didn't care,she was too excited to care.

They got ready and headed to the beach.

The beach was very quiet and peaceful.

It was a weekday and most people were probably at work.

They enjoyed the serenity, the beautiful views of the water body,the sound of birds chirping,the sound of water while sipping their cocktails quietly.

They were both silent with their thoughts.

Alex suddenly got up and poured sand on Abigail.

She thought they were here to have fun,there was no reason to be quiet.

Abigail immediately got up and chased her,they ran and laughed splashing water on each other's body.

They danced to the music, swaying hips.

"I love you" Alex wrote on the sand,unexpectedly and Abigail was touched at that moment, it was a sweet gesture to her.

" that's so sweet of you Alex,I love you too"

They hugged each other and enjoyed each other's embrace.

"How much I miss this," Abigail said.

They both sat on the ground,talked about good old college days and how Abigail's ex boyfriend was a piece of shit.

The two girls gist and laughed till it was dark and time to go home.

They packed their stuff,went home and called it a night.

The noise of a ringing cell phone woke Alex from her sleep.

She lazily stood up from bed and picked up her phone.

"Hello,good morning "

"Yes Alexandra Smith, speaking "

"Your brother's treatment was successful and he can go home now"

"What!!?"

Alex didn't know Dan would be treated so soon.

Dan made sure to tell the doctors not to inform her sister because she wanted to surprise her sister.

Alex immediately got up and got ready to see her brother.

She got to the hospital and the two siblings were very happy,they both packed Dan's belongings and went home.

"How do you feel?" Alex asked Dan.

"Much better,I could fly a skyscraper right now " he jokingly said.

"Okay you wish!"

They both laughed.

Alex and Dan got home and Abigail was excited to welcome Dan back home.

They ate and decided to go out for coffee.

They got to a coffee shop and ordered cappuccino, all three of them because it's their favourite.

Alex and Abigail expressed how happy and relieved they were knowing that Dan is back and better.

Dan felt so happy and lucky to have those two amazing young ladies in his life.

He thanked them and also told him how much he missed them and was tired of lying still on a hospital bed.

They laughed at him and teased him.

He laughed and pecked them both on the cheeks.

"I'm curious about the new life I'm entering " Alex felt so curious yet scared because she doesn't know how it will be for her and her brother.

"Me either, " Dan replied.

"I feel that way too,I can't just get it out of my head,it's scary"

"Exactly " Alex and Dan said in unison

They all laughed at their curiosity.

"Curiosity kills the cat they say,let's just hope things turn out better than we imagine" Dan told them.

"I agree, " Abigail said, feeling a little bit optimistic about the situation.

"I hope so," Alex replied in a low tone.

Alex was anxious but she wasn't going to give up, not now that her brother is back happy and healthy.
