His redemption

Everybody knew he had it all. Fame, girls, shit ton of money, beautiful parents, charming brothers and best friend.... but, did he! Damon Stone didn't grow up like any normal child. At the early age of 10, he had to learn how to take care of his 8 and 7 year old brothers because his parents were never home. "We won't be home until next week honey, we love you three so much. Take care, mommy and daddy will be home before you know it" They'd say. But it was all a lie, he realised later that all they said was a load of bull and he loathed them so much for choosing money over their own children. His hatred blinded him so much that he started taking it out on other people. At his school, he was known as the 'Demon' with a heart of Stone and he couldn't care less. He loved it, all the fear, it's like he fed off of it. He loved the way girls would practically shit themselves under his gaze just for them to come begging for a one night stand. The way he would intimidate men both older and younger than him due to his strong built body, he loved it. Until he met her. They say that even the coldest hearts deserve to be let in, will she be his saviour! Or will he teach her all he's ever known. Destruction.

The fire works.

Baby, I'm not even in a gown

I'm just in a T-shirt on the couch

The way you want me makes me want you now

The only thing you have to say is (Wow)

And I feel this way with no chemicals in my system

Babe, it's incredible

When you're touching me, yeah, that says it all

You said it all (Yeah)

Baby, I'm not even in a gown

I'm just in a t-shirt on the couch

The way you want me makes me want you now

The only thing you have to say is (Wow)

Damon Pov

"Now listen, you can do this okay!" I sqeezed her shoulders reassuringly and turned her towards the baloons.

"Just concetrate on your target and release." I muttered in her ear and placed a kiss on her cheek before giving her some space.

"Alright." She mumbled and got into position. We all watched her, anticipating what will happen next. She weight the dart in her hands before pulling in a long breath and releasing it. My eyes nearly bulged out when it hit the baloon.

Blossom erupted in cheers as well as other people around. She jumped up and down excitedly and I carried her off her feet. I laughed in joy and pride after so many attempts, she finally got it right.

"I did it! I did it! I did it!" She yelled on top of her lungs. I laughed and nodded my head at her.

"Yes you did!" I put her back on the ground but still held on to her. I placed a strand of her hair behind her ear and cupped her cheek. She grinned and chuckled nervously.

"Here young lady! The teddy bear that you well deserve." She squealed excitedly and practically ran towards the old man. She recieved her prize and walked back to me wiggling her eye brows while flaunting the teddy bear in the air for everyone to see.

"So:-" She sighed and leaned against me as support. "What's next!"

I grinned and grabbed her hand. We walked around the crowded amusement park. Despite the late hours, the place was buzzling with life. I guess that is one of the reasons why I loved this place.

Blossom insisted on us buying a spongeBob hat for her and the one of Patrick for me and no amount of convincing could change her mind. We took part in face painting and she ended up getting a little purple butterfly on her right cheek whilst I got a star on mine. I bought us cotton candy along the way and ice cream.

"What is this place?" She asked looking at a long line of people playing.

"This is whack-a-mole." I said.

"Whack-a what?" She mumbled stuffing her face with cotton candy.

"Whack-a-mole. It's a game in which players use a mallet to hit toy moles which appear at random back into their holes." She hummed in response. We approached the young man that I've grown accustomed to and he greeted us.

"Hi dude! Who's the beautiful lady with you?" He said greeting Blossom.

"Matt, this is Blossom Wright." They said their greetings and he set us up.

"Will you be playing alone or is this a competition?" He asked.

"Oh no! She's alone. She could never possibly handle me." I taunted her and smirked. She raised her eye brows and scoffed.

"Hey Matt! Make that a competition." She said and folded her hands over her chest.

"You got it!" He said.

"You're going to regret this." I warned.

"The only one who'll be with regrets is you after I beat you infront of everyone." She took daring step towards me and smirked.

Matt suddenly emerged from wherever he was with a mini microphone and laughed looking at us.

"Okay! Ladies and gentlemen are you ready for another round of Whack-a-mole." He said and people around erupted in cheers.

"What?" She asked, shocked to see so many people around.

"Standing on the right is the all time champion, Damon Stone!" Everyone cheered on as I flexed at all the attention I was getting.

"Champion?" She asked, again.

"Thats right!" Matt replied.

"On the left is the challenger. She's fast, she's fierce, pretty and not to mention, Damon's girlfriend. Blossom Wright!"

"I don't think I can do this." Bloss said eyeing the large crowd that was starting to form. My heart skipped a beat thinking she was going to correct Matt but I let out a sigh of relief when she didn't seem that bothered. I wasn't bothered at all. She is the closest any girl has ever gotten to me and she's only been here for a couple of weeks. She's the best thing that could have possibly happened to me now, more than ever.

"Oh c'mon! You were literally giving a speech about how you can't wait to beat my ass." I held her hand and sighed.

"Do you really want to add coward to the list of things I call you, Wright?" I said with a smirk. She rolled her eyes and grabbed a pellet.

"That's the spirit." I pecked the back of her hand and got a pellet too.

"On your mark, get ready:-" Matt trailed off looking at us.

"GO!" I immediately started hitting toy moles very fast whilst taking a glance at Bloss. She seemed to be having a hard time at first but eventually found her rythm.

"Hey D!" She said almost out of breath.

"Yeah baby!" I replied still playing.

"You remember the time at Al's?" She asked.

I frowned in confusion. "Uh, yeah!"

"I was so frustrated when you left. I thought you we're going to have me there and then." My eyes nearly bulged out. I stopped playing and looked at her in disbelief. I felt my little friend down there get excited at the mere thought of her na-

"We have a new Champion everyone, Blossom Wright!" Matt's annoying voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked my score then Bloss' and clicked my tongue in disbelief. The whole crowd erupted in cheers and Blossom jumped up and down.

"You little pretty evil thing." I muttered enough for her to hear. She laughed and flaunted yet another prize in my face.

"She's good D! You're a lucky man." Matt said taking the pellets back.

"How does it feel like?" She asked.

"How does what feel like!"

"To lose." She shrugged her shoulders and laughed at me.

"You distracted me." I said.

"I did no such thing." She gasped acting oblivious.

"I was just reminiscing about the good ol' times." She shrugged and placed one of her prizes in my hands.

"You're pretty familiar with everyone around here." She said frowning a little in curiosity.

"My parents used to bring us here during holidays." She nodded her head in understanding

"Are you hungry?" I asked. She scrunched up her nose and looked at me. I tried not to get lost in her beautiful doe eyes.

"Are you?"

"Yes, I was thinking the food in my car?" Her face beamed and she nodded her head excitedly.

"But it'll be cold now."

"Not for long." We made our way through the crowded park and to the best chef I know. We walked for a while, cutting through the mass of people when a girl suddenly stopped infront of me.

"Damon, it's good to see you here." She said with a smile. I frowned and racked my brain for her name to no vail. When she saw that I made no effort to say anything she spoke again.

"Shayla, Jenni's friend from school. My parents and I just came for a little week-end family get away." She giggled while combing one manicured hand through her hair. Her gaze went to Blossom and turned to envy or hatred. It's really hard to understand these people.

"Alright. Have a great time with your family." I replied bluntly but, politely. I gave Bloss a little shove until she got the message. We left the Shayla girl and continued on our way.

My mood suddenly turned sour the moment she mentioned Jennifer's name. I couldn't even imagine the havoc she'll cause the moment Shayla tells her about Blossom.

"Who is Jenni?" She asked.

"Nobody." Just then, I caught sight of the little bistro and increased our speed before she could ask any questions.

"Damon, what a pleasant surprise." The old Italian man welcomed us with a smile to his face.

"Hello Sendro!" He engulfed me in a fatherly hug and turned his attention to Blossom.

"Hello sir!" She greeted him politely and stretched out her hand. Sendro chuckled and pulled her in for a hug instead. He looked at me and nodded his head in approval. I chuckled and handed him my car keys.

"The usual?" He asked.

"The usual." I checked the time on my watch and hurriedly left with Blossom hot on my tail.

"Where are we going?"

"Just one last ride and then we can eat, alright!" I said.

She nodded her head in approval and followed me. I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw that the line was short.

"Uhm, Damon! Why are we going on that particular ride?" She asked sounding a bit unsure.

"This particular ride is called a ferris wheel and it's the most exciting one of them all. Trust me!" I ushered her on as she starred at it unsure. I squeezed her hand hoping to calm her nerves and we both got in. We buckled up and the ferris wheel started moving.

"Oh my God!" She gasped and held on. She closed her eyes and tried to slow down her breathing.

"You know, if you want me to kiss the nerves away you could just ask." I shrugged looking at her. She punched me on my arm and rolled her eyes.

"Not even in your dreams, Stone." I chuckled and threw my hands up in surrender. I heard my phone buzz in my pocket but I ignored it.

The slow pace of the ride created a feeling of comfort, safety and security. Everytime I reached high above, I felt like I was invincible. Nothing and nobody could touch me. And along the way, I guess I could say that nobody could hurt me. Far far away from everything and everyone. All the people that brought hatred, anger, sadness and disappointments in my life seemed so small up here. They are all meaningless and nothing, I learned that a long time ago.

"What are you thinking about?" Blossom asked looking at me. I smiled once I realised that she finally calmed down.

"Nothing." She hummed unconviced but chose to look at the New York view from here.

"It's so beautiful." She mumbled and smiled to herself.

"Yes:-" I smiled a little looking at her awed expression.

"Yes, it is."

We both remained quiet, taking in the beautiful view before us. The wheels suddenly stopped as soon as we reached the top and Blossom let out a scream.

"It's oky, Bloss!"

"We are going down. What do you mean, IT'S OKAY?" She yelled jumping in my arms. I stiffled in a laugh and held her.

"We are not. Sometimes they organise fire works for uh, couples on the ferris wheel so they have to stop them temporarily for them, in this case, us to enjoy and I guess today is our lucky day." I explained but still, she didn't let go of me.

"There is nothing to worry about." I said patting her hair down.

"Oh, alright!" She mumbled.

"Thank you for tonight." She said pushing herself us so she can look at me.

"Even though I totally think you only did this to avoid whatever is waiting for you back home, thank you!"

I chuckled and shook my head at her. "You're welcome!"

"I should be the one thanking you for coming here, with me. I mean, New York:-" I trailed off and cupped her cheek.

"I never would've gone through the day without you, Bloss." I spoke truthfully. I could've thought of a million unhealthy ways to cope with Derrick's bullshit after whatever he did but yet, here I am, with possibly the most beautiful girl.

"You're the only thing in my life that makes sense right now." I mumbled and got close to her.

She frowned but held my hand. Her doe eyes starred right back at me and for a second, I let myself drown in their abyss. I tilted my head to the side as her eyes fluttered closed. I kissed her lightly on her soft plump lips and smiled once I tested the sweetness of cotton candy on her. I wrapped my hands around her neck and trailed down on her chin. I let out a moan once she tangled my hair with her hands. She let out a yelp when the fire works started and I used the distaction to carry her on my lap.

"What are you doing?"

I smirked, "this." I smashed my lips on hers and curled my hands around her waist. I brushed my lips against hers and explored each other. She let out a moan and damn me if it wasn't sexy. She slowly pulled away slowly and rested her forehead against mine.

"I:-" She gasped and licked her lips.

"I am so:-"

":-hungry?" I finished her sentence. Her stomach growled and we both laughed.

"You are one of a kind, Wright." I chuckled running my hands around her waist.
