Chapter 2: Wailing in her sorrow

Ah ling sat silently on the bed and closed her eyes . without realising, tears began to gush down her cheeks. Her past really did a great damage to her , which for years she still couldn't forget . As she was in her abyss of thought , she didn't realise droplet of salty tears fell from her eyes.

She struggled to properly breath hiccupimg for gasp of air . In the cold dark room , she broke down . She wished all was just a nightmare but to her distaste , it was a reality. Her heart ached with the painful memories from 5 years ago

5 years ago...

Her life has always been that of a simple and a very beautiful girl of one of the most prominent families in city Ying . Someone everyone envied among the socialite but all that changed that night . She could still remember the heart wrenching pain of watching her family get massacred all because of trusting the wrong people.

All because of her family kindness , they were betrayed .... Her father brought them in and gave them a home but at the end what did they get in return ??....

Betrayal !!!!!

Never could she imagine her fiance family to betray her family after all they've done for them . Her lips trembled as she could still picture the incident of that day . It was her birthday.... the same day she lost her family in the hands of her fiance family . A day she thought would be a lively family gathering but all her wish were shortened after experiencing a disastrous breakdown...

She was still wallowing in her thoughts when she heard a loud knock hammering within the four walls of the room . Her mind jerked awake as she silently cleaned the mess on her face and went under the blankets back .The knock increased gradually as the person at the other end seemed impatient.

Screech....!!!!

With a loud bang, the door flung open and here comes a young and beautiful young lady wearing a short flowered gown accompanied with a leather slip on wears . She strode into the room with heavy steps and an angry expression, she seemed clearly annoyed as she stopped her steps at the other end of the bed glaring down at the figure lying on the bed .

"Ah Ra , didn't you hear when I was knocking?? Or you are just pretending to be asleep and by this time ?? " She tugged and pulled the blanket off her body

Ah Ra jerked awake as soon as she felt a cold breeze touched her skin . Her eyes met that of the intruder face as she sat up , her eyes looking aggrieved like she has been wrong .

"Ji ri let me sleep more , I am still a bit tired " she grunted sheepishly as she snuggles back into the blanket

Kim jisoo is her very close cousin and best friend. It was she and her mother which was her aunt that saved her at her most crucial period and brought her to Seoul to continue her schooling after the disastrous night . The two of them luckily happened to be of the same age mate because it wasn't long after jisoo was given birth to that Ah Ra followed thus, making them both became very close and almost inseparable. Jisoo is a stylist designer and the owner of one of the most popular brands in the city ( Rennox ).

They both started their careers immediately after they passed out from college last three years and a lot had happened which made them the most envied among the socialite. Even when she made it to the top model of the whole of Korea , they were always facing back lash and difficulty but they made it through which makes people even wish to have such a bond .

" Ah Ra , if you keep keep daydreaming like this , we would eventually be late for the flight and you know what will happen next . Those annoying friends of ours would start with episode 2 of their lecture and you know I can't afford that not after we missed going back last week and not to talk of my mother " jisoo whined when she saw Ah ra still sleeping

" I really don't wanna go anymore... I don't know.....but ....it's ....it's been 5 years now and I don't wanna face that place ever again if possible" Ah Ra mumbled, her eyes looking sad . Just looking at her expression, jisoo knew she must have had another nightmare .

She just sighed and took a seat beside Ah Ra " darling, you had the same dream again??" She asked softly as she Pats her on the hair

" Yes I did and it was hell as usual " she meekly answered as she frustratingly pulled on her hair " how I wished it was possible to move back the hands of time then maybe .... Just maybe ... my whole family would still be here with me " she continued trying to hold back her cries .

Jisoo pulled her in for a hug and consoled her knowing well that's what she needs

" Do you regret falling in love with him ??" She asked quietly afraid of her answer

As if that question surprised her , Ah ri lifted her head up and stared at her friend . Although she was at a loss of words but she still maintained her stance and mumbled quietly

" Of course I do regret it . If anyone had told me it was gonna be like this then maybe ... I could have prevented it from happening from the start . I really hate the fact that the both of them are still walking freely in Ying city and no doubt they will feel anxious when I get back to get revenge . I will take back what rightfully belongs to me and make their lives a living hell . That I promise!" She swored , a new ray of glint emerging from her blue amber eyes .

Jisoo looked at her surprisingly and smiled internally. Finally her friend is back ! She thought as she grinned wildly . She knew how much she had suffered injustice and how much effort she made to be a trained militant during these 5 years . They both spent 2 years in school, 1 year in military school and the remaining, building both their careers. It was really a smart choice as they both knew once they got back to Ying city everything would change .It would be a bloodbath as there would be so many people wanting their lives .

" Baby girl that's the spirit . Now no crying and reminiscing on the past events . Instead let's prepare ourselves for an unknown future . All you have to do now is to go and freshen up . Then we can have our breakfast and leave " jisoo said in a rather more cheerful manner earning a chuckle from Ah ri who was quite amused by her

" Oh my gosh. What would I have done without you sweetheart" Ah ri exclaimed pulling her in for a hug . They both hugged themselves tightly as if they haven't had enough of one another, Peaks of laughter echoing around the room .

" Okay now get going. We only have about 30 minutes available" Jisoo pulled her up and pushed her to the bathroom before going back downstairs to get their breakfast ready .
