31 First Date

Inside the car, Christopher was in the driver's seat and Kaylee was in the passenger seat. She looked at the man beside her. "Are you sure you can drive?"

He looked at her and smiled. "Of course."

She looked down. "But you drink—" She was taken aback when he held her hand.

"I'm okay." She looked at him and nodded. "Okay." He smiled and started the engine.

She just looked at the window while her left hand intertwined with his right hand. It was still early in the morning and she could see other couples walking on the roadside. There's also someone walking alone, an elder, and some teenagers. She leaned her head into the window and closed her eyes.

She slowly opened her when she felt someone was patting her face. When she opened her eyes, she saw Christopher looking at her. "We're here."

She sat up straight and looked around. "Where are we?"

He smiled. "I don't know where you want to go, and I have no idea where we are supposed to be, I decided to stop by here while you're sleeping."

She exited the car and looked at the surroundings, "Do you want to go somewhere? We can leave if you don't want here." She shook her head, closed her eyes, and felt the fresh air occupying her body, he smiled while looking at her. He took out his phone and took a photo of her. He was about to take another picture when she opened her eyes and looked at him.

He hid his phone and put it back in his pocket. She blushed and looked away. They were on the beach, there were no other people in the area, except for them. She clenched her fist before looking back at him again. She smiled and held the man's hand. He is a bit taken aback but recovers in a second.

She dragged him near the sea and sat on the sand. She looked up at him and pulled his hand. He was now sitting on the sand beside her. "Should we buy food?" He looked at her. "There's a store there, I'll buy some, what do you want?" He said as he pointed to the store, which was not too far away from them.

She smiled and stood up. "I'm going with you."

After buying some food and snacks, Kaylee dragged him into the clothing store. "Since we're already here, let's swim?" She said as she looked at him with a big smile.

He nodded. "Okay."

She buys all the stuff they will need for their little date. She handed him the plastic bag with swimwear inside. "Wear that." She said before entering the shower room. After a while, she got out wearing only her black two-piece swimsuit.

His jaw dropped as he pushed her back into the shower room. He held her arm and looked at her. "What do you think you're wearing?"

She smiled. "Come on, Top. We're on the beach what do you expect me to wear?" He looked at her eyes.

"Can we just sit on the seaside? I don't care if our clothes or even my car got wet. Just don't wear that kind of clothes in public."

She blinked. "There are no people around. There's only you and me".

He didn't move. "Please?"

"Okay!"

"Are you disappointed?" She smiled and shook her head. "No."

After putting back on her clothes, They both returned to the seaside and lay the blanket on the sand. Kaylee and Christopher sat on the blanket as they enjoyed their food. They also took a photo together and chased each other. They just spent time together while wandering around the beach.

Kaylee lay down on the blanket and let her body fall into the blanket as she closed her eyes. He lay down beside her and looked at her. "Are you tired?" When she didn't respond, he just stared at her. She smiled. "Stop staring at me." Christopher laughed.
