"No one can break us apart, not my parents or even you."
Noelle gritted her teeth and looked directly into his eyes. "You, Jarvis are the same, you're gonna leave Kaylee behind once you get what you wanted. Leaving her as if she didn't exist in your life."
Christopher pressed his lips together and leaned his elbow into his tight. "What do you mean by that? I will not leave Kaylee, but like you said, I would. Her existence means a lot to me." He paused and leaned his back on the couch. "Tell me, President Vermillion, was it Ethan if I am not mistaken? He's the most troublemaker among us, Jarvis."
Noelle looked away. "I won't say anything."
Christopher let out a weak laugh. "Stop being childish here President Vermillion. I'm not going to force you to tell me about your issues with Jarvis, but let me ask you this one. I'm dying to know the truth you know."
Noelle sneered. "Spill it."
"What rights do you have for you to say that I have to break up with Kaylee?"
Noelle stood up and grabbed her bag. "Are you questioning my rights now?!"
Christopher stood up too and looked directly into her eyes. "You just have to answer my question. What's your relationship with her?"
Noelle glared at him. "I can't tell you everything. All I can say is that she is a family. She's very important to us, so I wanted to protect her."
Hearing that Noelle is Kaylee's family he was relieved. At least except for her grandma, she has someone in her family willing to protect her. He smiled. "Thank you, that information is enough for me. I'm counting on you to protect her, and don't worry, you can count on me too."
Noelle turned her back to him, ready to leave. She sighed. "I'm not fully trusting you yet, but since she was with you right now, I don't have a choice but to trust you with this." She paused. 'Plus, she looked happy with you; I can't take away her happiness.'
"You must protect her, especially to your brother. He is a scheming jerk. If you can't do that, I assure you you won't see her again. I'll take her away from you and no one in your family can lay a finger on her. Remember that, President Jarvis. I won't go back on my words." She paused again and pressed her lips together. "I'll call you regarding your proposal after I talk about it later with Dad. I'm counting on you, Christopher Jarvis." She continued and walked out of the house.
As soon as Noelle left, Christopher sat and closed his eyes as he leaned his head on the couch. "She was so intimidating."
"Who?"
Hearing that voice, Christopher opened his eyes. He was surprised to see Kaylee was already beside him. "Hey," he said.
Kaylee raised her eyebrow, "Who is it? The intimidating one?"
Christopher hugged her as he placed his chin on her shoulder. "Noelle Vermillion was here, she said she saw us move in yesterday and decided to drop by. She's reconsidering our proposal with them."
Kaylee caressed his back. "Why are you so intimidated? You're the president of your own company and you are as intimidating as her."
He tightened his hug. "Really?"
She nodded. "Of course."
Anyways. I'm planning on creating a story about Charlotte and Ethan too. I don't know when since I'm still busy and I'm still working on Christopher and Kaylee's story.
