“I think you do need a nap,” Noah said as I unlocked my apartment door. “You’re exhausted, Travis. Which is completely normal considering what you’ve been through. So take the nap and then we can have more date.”
I removed my coat and hung it on the peg, then reached for his jacket, which he was sliding off. He gave me a grin and pulled off his thick burgundy scarf, too. I hung both on the peg next to my coat.
“You should come nap with me.”
He sucked in a fast breath, his pupils blowing. His voice was low when he spoke. “If I get in bed with you, there won’t be any napping going on.”
I took his hand and then started walking backward toward the bedroom. “That’s kind of the point.” I gave him my most salacious grin.
“Travis, sweetheart, I don’t think you’re up to—”
