After the lesson, Ash started to notice that Kai was in a surprising amount of his classes. In fact, he was in three of Ash’s five. Ash nearly dismissed that fact, as those three were general courses, but as classes were switching on Wednesday. Ash realized that Kai was in at least one of his other classes, just in a different hour. It was one of the two classes he had for his business degree, which probably meant Kai was a business major as well.

Making that revelation made it much harder for Ash to simply ignore Kai. He found himself beginning to watch the other, no matter how hard he tried not to. It was almost instinctual to watch and learn, though what he did discover wasn’t painting a very good picture for Ash.
