Caius's small groaning voice pulled her back from her mental state, and she realized she was still holding onto him by the side. Plus, he got injured too when the man grazed him. It didn't look too bad, and the bleeding was probably gonna stop soon but that doesn't mean he wasn't in pain. Taking him back into the cocoon of her arms, she picked up her sword and headed back in the direction of the waterfall.
