Ethan's POV
I chuckled to myself and smiled when Lizzy is out the door. God, how I love her. I take the clothes she prepared for me and stepped out to meet my dad and Andrew plus some workers. I walk down the pavement and went straight to the meeting tent. I sat down next to Andrew as dad talked. He greeted me "Wassup my bro!" He slam my back. I laughed "Well you are on a good mood" I smiled as his smile widened "I am, am I? Ruby just made my day every morning. I hate it when I have to leave her you know?" His expression turned into a sad one. I tried to comfort him when we heard a girl's laughter. We both looked back to see Ruby and Lizzy laughing together. I smiled to myself and turned my head to see Andrew smiling so wide at Ruby "Yeah, I know how that feels but she has a good friend by her side" I said as he said still looking at Ruby "Yeah..."
After some hours of hearing dad talk to the constructors, they understand and started working right away. We watch the captain explain to his team how to make the project happen and asked them to take things and start working. We were both very tired as the day turned into night. We said our goodbyes before I walk to my tent. My tiredness were all replaced by happiness and love when I saw Lizzy reading a book on the bed. Her attention are all fixed on the book she is reading. That changed when I pulled both her leg to each side of my torso. "Ack!" She reacted as the book flung to the other side of the room. I lowered my head "So focused...Gotta change that" I said and kissed her forehead as she started to giggle.
I smiled and looked at her "I guess that was your 'Hi' then" She said. "Yeah, Hi" My smile widened. "How's your day?" I asked "As usual, spending time with Ruby, talking to your mom, she's fun to talk to anyway and stuff" She smiled as I laughed "How's yours?" She said back. I sigh "Exhausted and tired" I said "Hmm, how about you take a bath and you tell me details later?" She suggested with a smile plastered on her face "With blankets and hot choco!" I laughed "Don't forget the marshmallows" I said putting my finger on her nose "Right" She giggled. We stand up as I pecked her cheek "Hey!" She shouted before I ran away to the bathroom chuckling to myself.
Elisabeth's POV
After he ran to the bathroom, I shook my head and laughed to myself. That boy. I go to the kitchen and took 2 glass on the counter before pouring some chocolate powder to them. I put water in the teapot to heat. Then, I went to the fridge to take some marshmallows and put 3 in each glass. The water boils and I pour them in the glass. I smiled at my work as a pair arm found it's way around my waist and pulled me back against a hard - rock chest. I looked up to see him smiling at me with his hair wet from the shower. I smiled back at him before he give me a Spider-man kiss. I smiled again before looking down in embarrassment. He rest his head on my shoulder as he kissed my hair "You smell sweet" He whispered as it made me blush. His hand traveled from my waist to my arm then to my hair moving it to the side before he kissed my neck. I flinch a bit as shivers ran down my spine.
He chuckled "Does my kisses scare you?" He said as he turned me around to face him. I shook my head "No" He lifted me to the counter "Really?" He smirked as I nodded. He put his hand on each of my side as he pushed his torso in between my legs. His face were inches from mine as he whispered "Are you sure Lizzy?" I can feel his hot breath on my lips "I-" I tried to speak, but nothing came out of my mouth. "That's what I thought" He pulled away and take his glass before walking away. I froze there looking down out of embarrassment. A shed of tear escaped my eyes as I cover my mouth with my hand so that Ethan won't hear any sound from me. I wanna keep quiet. Why is he like this? Why did he...change? Is there something wrong with...me? A thousand questions spin in my head.
I decided to take my coat and ran out of the tent in a speed of light. I ran through the dark forest with tears in my eyes until I stopped in my tracks when I saw a cliff in front of me. I wanted to jump. I want to forget everything. I put one foot forward as that one question crossed my mind Am I ready for this? no...yes...maybe? I closed my eyes and was about to put my weight forward so I could fall when a voice behind me shouted "Lizzy! Stop!" His voice said. I looked back to him in tears with my hands pressed against my chest. He ran up to me. He reach out for me but I backed away. "What's wrong?" He said as I shook my head "Tell me" He whispered as I shook my head even more that my eyes let more tears ran down my cheek. He put his hands in either side of my face gently as my eyes widened. He lifted my face up and wipe my tears away with his thumb "Tell me" He said placing the strands of my hair that is blocking my eyes to the back of my ear. I looked at him with my round eyes as I started to break down again. I fall on my knees sobbing. "I-There's something wrong with me is it?" I said as he knelled infront of me "What?" He said "Y-You've changed. You were so mean to me in the kitchen earlier. I-" I put my head on my hand sobbing even louder.
I wanted to shout at him. I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs but I can't. I-I can't. "Lizzy," His voice take me back to reality "Nothing is wrong with you, You're perfect" He took my face on his hands. "I was inside the bathroom when you were gone" He said. Wait, what? "I was out of the shower when I realized you were gone. I panicked. I looked for you everywhere and found your footsteps out the tent" He smiled "W-what?" I said looking at him confused. "I don't know who's with you earlier, but it wasn't me. I was in the shower" He explained "Did this me do anything to you? Are you hurt anywhere?" He looked at me up and down. I shook my head and smiled "So it's not you right?" He shook his head "No, I won't do anything to hurt you Lizzy. That's a promise" He smiled before I jump at him and wrap my arms around him. He laughed and swing me around which made me scream in between my laughter. He stopped and hugged me back tighter. "I won't hurt you Lizzy" He repeated before I pulled away and looked at him "I know" I said before I crash our lips together. We walked back to the tent with me in his arms before we go to bed. But one question still remains : Who tricked me?
