~13~ Why are you here?
Ethan's POV
I didn't get much sleep last night so I wasn't feeling my best since this morning. I woke up to no one in the room "Lizzy?!" I said standing up in a speed of light but soon collapse to the bed felling tipsy. "Morning" Her voice rang and a smile plastered on her face. I looked at her "I thought you were gone" I said worried "Sorry" She said "It's fine, come here" I open my arms widely as she crawl to bed and rested on me. My hands made it's way to her hair and my fingers play with it. We sat there in silence but it wasn't a awkward silence, just a silence that speak more than words. Until I broke the silents "My dad didn't plan on doing something today right?" she laughed "Thankfully no" Suddenly our door knocked "Really?" I said annoyed glaring at the door. She laughed again "What? I'm not wrong right? I don't want to leave you just yet" I pouted at her as she hugged me "I know, but you should probably listen to what your dad wants" She smiled against my chest. I kiss her head "Thank you Lizzy"
The door sounded again. I turned my head towards the door and shouted angrily "Ugh, what?!" I glared. "My prince! I uh.. Your dad asks for you and Lady Elisabeth's presence at the meeting room immediately " A male voice said through the door. I turned my head to Lizzy "I guess my day won't be ruined today" She giggled as I smiled "Thank God on that" She said. "We'll be there!" I shouted at the door again. We both took our shower and went to the meeting room hand in hand. We arrived there and we entered to see everyone sitting on their chair talking. We went to our chair and sit there. Mom looked at us and said "Ah, welcome Ethan and Liz" Lizzy smiled at her "Thank you" They both started to talk to each other as I looked at Andrew looking at Ruby talking to dad. I kicked him under the table to take his attention.
He turned his head to me immediately "What the hell?!" He shout-whispered as I smirked in amusement "Do you know why dad want us and the girls to be here?" I wshipered to him "No, why?" He replied angrily "Jeez, you don't have to be so mad about it you know? I just don't want to shout for your attention from the other end of the table" I said to him "Well you don't have to kicked someone for that" He snapped back. I was about to reply to him when suddenly dad said "Do you all know why I asked for your presence today at this beautiful day?" We all looked at him "No" We said in union "We have a guest visiting us" He said excited "Who?" I said confused "She will come about...Now" After he said that, the door opened to reveal..."Lacey?!" Me, Andrew, Lizzy, and Ruby all said in union and shock looking at her "Ahh, I see you girls have known her too then" Dad said "Yeah dad, she's at our school" Andrew said still looking at Lacey
"What are you doing here?" I said darkly at her "What? You didn't miss me Thanie?" She said "Thanie?" Lizzy's voice said behind me "Oh my God of all people in the world, why is it have to be you" She pointed at Lizzy "And you?" She pointed at Ruby. Ruby raise from her seat "I think you hit your head to a car since you forget that we are part of his family now?" She said "Damn girl, High five" Lizzy said from her seat giving Ruby a high-five "I don't care who you are" Lacey snapped. "Lacey will be staying with us for a couple of days" Dad interviene. I snap my head to him "What?!" I shouted "Son-" I cut him off "Dad, have you any idea what she had done?! Do you remember what happened last time she was here?" I slam my hand to the table "Have she manipulate you mind?!" I shouted at him "I said she is staying with us and that's my desicion!" He shouted at me How dare he! "Dad, She have nothing else to do with me, I already have Lizzy!" I said "I'm not changing my mind son. You either accept it or not I don't care" My eyes went wide "Mom?" I looked at my mom but she didn't say anything.
The room was dead silent "Anyways, I'm happy i'm staying with you guys. Especially when there's you Thanie" Lacey said as I glared at her . I opened my mouth to say something when Lizzy said "Let me get one thing straight here" She got up from her chair and walked up to Lacey "You're not going to walk around in your heels shouting 'Thanie' to everyone because he had a name and he's mine" Lizzy said pointing her finger at her. My eyes went wide "Girl, whaaaat?" Ruby said. Did I heard it right? "Can you repeat that Lizzy?" I smirked at her as she walked up to me "Your mine" Her turn to smirk at me now. She put her finger on my chin raising my face to look at her "Feisty... I like it" I said as she shrugged "Get that from my mom" Her smirk grew. I can see Lacey looking annoyed from behind Lizzy.
"Where am I sleeping from this day forward Mr.Black?" Lacey asked "In one of our rooms upstairs. The one next to Ethan and Liz's room" Dad said. "Now I know why you made extra rooms" I glared at dad "That's great!" Lacey said excitedly. "Why don't we go down the backyard for some fresh air" Mom finally managed to say "Good idea, let's go then" Dad said. We all stand from our sits and went outside. I looked down the whole way when Lizzy wrap her hands around my arm. I looked at her "Your not looking like yourself back there" She said worried "Oh...Sorry, I was just a little angry that Lacey is here to ruin our life again" I said sarcastically. "Yeah...I know that. But I hope we can find a way to keep her far from us" She said "I hope her parents sent her back any minute now" I murmured as she laughed "Same here" She smiled. I can't help but smile when I see her smile. Just that little thing can light up my day.
We arrived at the backyard and we huddled with Andrew and Ruby "What is going on guys? Why is Lacey here" Ruby said "I'm more annoyed now that she's here" Lizzy said "We don't know how or why she is here" Andrew said annoyed "Maybe we should make a plan to pull Lacey far away from us" I said as they all agreed. We discussed our plan and let our parents talk to Lacey and catch things up. After what felt like days, our parents finally let us go back to our rooms. But what is more annoying is that we have to go with Lacey. We all begged for dad to let Lacey go on her own but he wave us of and walk to their room with mom.
