CHAPTER 186

After Penelope helped Lady Sharlene to stand up, that is when Prince Lucien finally decided to move and approach them. Lady Sharlene thought he will ask for her hand and help her to stand up. But instead of approaching Lady Sharlene, he gets near Lady Penelope and offers her a clean handkerchief. 

"What's that, Prince Lucien?" Penelope asked. 

"A handkerchief." Prince Lucien quickly answered with a smile.

Penelope glares at him before she replied.

"I know that. But why are you giving me a handkerchief?"

Instead of answering her question, Prince Lucien slowly shakes his head before getting her hand. Then he slowly wipes his cousin's hand with his handkerchief. His movement is so meticulous as if there's a speck of dirt on it although Penelope cannot see anything on her hand. Prince Lucien continued doing it until he was satisfied and throw the handkerchief in a trash can nearby.

"Your Highness, what did you do?" Penelope asked again.
